7:30 this morning Abdel went down to the Tampa office for the Infopass appt. They had him fill out a new EAD form and stated he will receive a letter this week with an appointment for next week to return. Next week he will have his biometrics done onsite and will receive the Interim EAD on the spot!

Dec. 10/04... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport stamped)

Sept. 9/06... I-751 sent to NSC

May 15/07... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Sept. 13/07... N-400 sent to NSC

Aug. 21/08... Interview - PASSED!!!!

Sept. 2/08... Oath Ceremony

Sept. 5/08... Sent in Voter Registration Card

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!!

KAELY (K-2 Visa)

Apr. 6/05... DS-230, Part I faxed to Vancouver Consulate

May 26/05... K-2 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

Sept. 5/05... Entered U.S.

Sept. 7/05... I-485 & I-131 sent to CLB

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony

December 13, 2007 - I-751 submitted to NSC (removing of conditions fun begins...)

December 22 - Received a rejection notice because the form was not "properly signed". Package itself was not returned.

January 1, 2008 - Received packet back from CSC. They are requesting we resubmit the packet (which is already organized by CSC) with a properly signed form.

January 2 - Packet resubmitted to California.

January 12 - NOA1 received (dated 01/07/2008)

January 19 - Biometrics appointment notice received (dated 01/15/2008)

February 1 - Biometrics

March 11 - Approved! Card production ordered (notified via e-mail).

March 20, 2008 - New card arrived in the mail :)

Done until 2018 :)

K-1/K-2 VISA'S APPROVED IN MONTREAL MAY 2, 2005

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Aug. 18,06 passed the colorado driving test

Sept. 28,06 got my own car

Aug. 28,12 7th year wedding anniversary

July 11,2011 became a Citizen of US

Ok well ... not sure what stage we are at now, but today we had our regular biometrics appointment, and we were a "code 3" for both AOS & EAD. Since we tried MOnday to get Interim EAD - we were going to forgo the regular biometrics for EAD, but of course the appointment letter we were promised this week (for interim EAD) did not show up, so we gambled and did the biometrics as regularly scheduled.

Should we receive the appt letter from infopass, we will futher pursue the interim EAD. I guess at least this way we are processing SOMETHING!

I think it should be just a matter of weeks to obtain the EAD, so still good news, I guess.

Had to add the infopass appt has not yeilded any results so far. We were supposed to receive an appt letter to return last week and much to our surprise - we received nothing ... greeeeaaat. Luckily we followed Sanna's advise to do the regular biometrics.

Why cant they just do what they say they are going to do??? we are now around day 120 after EAD NOA - we well deserve the interim EAD not this jerking around.

/end rant.

I know Tampa does Interim EAD's on Wednesday's only, and it is crowded but well worth it to get the EAD. We did have an Interim EAD appt. in Tampa, but we were given the appointment letter at the InfoPass appt., but that was due to special circumstances.

Since you got the fingerprints for AOS/EAD done hopefully the EAD will be approved soon.
