Not to take away from his musical greatness, but in that first link (1996), he's lip syncing. However, a lot of groups were doing it. Fans want to hear the song sung just like on the record, so he was probably being smart.

I agree. As long as the fans enjoy the show and just want to be able to see him live, that's all that matters. :)

I always thought it was a great song. And I like it for the Vj family - lots of people from all over the world.
