Interview for the removal of conditions?

Dear all,

I just received the ASC notice for the biometrics. I just called the USCIS to see if there were other things I have to do regarding my case so I can make some travel arrangements in order to visit a relative of mine back in my country who is ill. They told me that there's an interview, whose details and date will be on the next letter I'll receive...

My question to you and that I'd truly appreciate it if someone could tell me: Did you have to go through this interview? if yes, when did you receive the letter on the specifics and date? when did you have to go through it?
