So I went for my ultra sound today on the kidneys....both are stoned, as usual. They also found my spleen to be rather enlarged. They seemed very alarmed by this finding.

Have you tried chick pea water? Tastes gross... but it helps de-stone them kidneys if you get them frequently... not sure about how much to drink but when I got a stone 5 months ago- I drank about 4-5 glasses of the stuff per day.

I made hummus with the chick peas too.

*Sigh* Len, I'd love to teach at a university but alas they don't want me with my piddly MA. I have no choice but go back for my Phd if I want to teach college. The downside is, I really don't want to go back for a Phd. I'd rather go back for another Master's (actually, an MFA)....

Guess I can't qualify to be a librul academic then!

How about being half a librul academic? Try those community colleges on a PT basis. Rake in that librul cash!
