I'm finding that the easiest way to get my wife to try new food is to simply tell her "It's beef" :rofl:

I like lengua when it's prepared incognito. If it's just a big hunk of meat lying there, it is far to disgusting for me. I remember the first time I tried to get some chicharones at the market. My wife asked me what they were, and so I explained to her. She thought I was kidding..... until she read the back of the bag :lol:

there are different types of carnitas though

some with too much grease to feel comfortable with

I've had those in Juarez, I'm lucky i didn't die :P
