Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Hello C4Cers...

Long time...no chat! Lo Siento! How's the propoganda?

AAm and I bought a house a couple weeks ago! Actually, we put in a bid on a foreclosed property in our neighborhood about 100 days ago...and then did a bunch of negotiating with the bank, got financing, and closed the deal on July 24th. We're homeowners now! It is a hellagreat pad, and even though I know us commies aren't high on the idea of personal property, I have to admit that it feels great. So, I got a great deal...way deep discount on price of the house because of the foreclosure and overall buyer's market, great interest rate, and the Obama $8000 tax credit (thanks fellow commie taxpayers for spreading your wealth...to ME!). We've been busy moving etc over the past few weeks...its going great. AAm is thrilled!

Plus, I have to file for ROC at the end of this month, so maybe this house buying will 'seal the deal' by providing good proof of comingling of assets betwixt AAm and myself...

Anyways, I am afraid that I now need to open myself up for flaming...because I have to ask a NOOB question! AAm wants to return to Thailand in a couple months to attend a wedding so I'm going to book her a ticket. However, I can't remember...do I book the ticket in her maiden name, which is the name in her passport? Of course, she'll take her marriage cert with her during the travel...but I seem to recall that I would need the name on the ticket to match the name on the passport...just to make it easier (even though her GC has my last name). Plus, when she does travel we'll probably be between NOA1 and NOA2 on the ROC. So, I hope that the NOA1 will be enough to help her not go to 'POE Jail' when she comes back from her vacation.

Sorry to have to talk 'immigration schmack' in the C4C thread...but after all...youse guys do know a thang or 2 'bout diz!

Peace to All,

Gracias Hermanas Len & NARocks!

The new pad is disco-free at the moment, but I did notice that AAm was playing a 70s CD the other morning and it had all that gliiter-ball disco ####### on it...

But...I don't blame AAm...she simply doesn't know better...because she is from another country...and can't possibly know better... ;)

AAm's 2 year GC will expire prior to her trip...so I'll make sure she has the NOA1 with her so she won't be put in the POE hoosegow upon return. But...the ticket...book that in her maiden name (matching her Thai passport name)...correct? I'm 90% sure this is what I've read before...but, that was several beers/years ago...

Len...congrats on your NOA1 for your ROC...and also congrats on the new pad (and couch?) for you!

Paz y Amor!

I'm here but have nothing to contribute Commie or Christ wise.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
