Man Rob I sympathize in a sad way. I would behave the same way with my dad when he'd make all kinds of time for us after my folks' divorce. Lucky me I decided to grow up in my teens and get to know him because I lost him when I was 18.

Hopefully your oldest realizes what a cool dad he's got.

Thanks Hal. I think it will all work out ok in the end. It's just a rough transitionary phase right now and I hope things will be getting better.

Sorry about the loss of your dad, but glad you had reconciled with him in time.

I'm sure it will man.

Morning commies, Len reporting for duty from the UW, pretending to be busy

scandal, Bren is a complete This American Life freak. Record, replay, over and over.

Still refuse to pack. Waaaaay too many damn books.

Just have one of those random websites about 'work' open in case you need to toggle to another window if someone approaches.

LoL, I prefer the random excel spreadsheet or some sort of DB, seems far more apropos for work

Oh SNAP I actually just used my open Thunderbird with an email from a colleague about some experiments. Boss alert worked.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

I used to love the Boss Alert function that MSN Plus had. Too bad all messengers are banned here at work. They even ban any webmail that has a chat function on it

Where I work once in a while they ( IT Department ) will shoot me an email about the amount of time I spend on the internet. Sometimes they send a print out with the amount of time in a certain web site ( Like VJ ). However they are pretty cool as long as I stay out of the Porn stuff

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?
