Hello,

I am getting close to my NOA2 date (well, hopefully) and I had some questions on the documents I will need to bring to the interview.

Here's what I have so far:

1. Long form Certified birth certificate (actually just a photocopy and fancy paper with a Canadian gov. seal) - will this be ok?

2. Police Clearence letter

3. I-134 , DS-156, DS-156K, DS-230 all done

4. I have supporting evidence

Really, the only thing I think I have to do is get the noa2 and get the medical done....or am I sadly mistaken?

Nothing obvious seems to be missing from your list.

Supporting Evidence should be (at least):

  • Originals of items sent as copies with the original petition
  • Ongoing relationship
  • Passport Style Photos
  • Payment (of course)

Additionally, if applicable, former marriage certificate of foreign fiancee, military records. I would also recommend sending or briging a copy of any other documents ever sent to the USCIS...yes, the entire I-129f package. Do not assume it will all arrive at the consulate
