Led Zeppelin co-founder Jimmy Page chimed in on the subject too, saying he doesn't believe players of games like Guitar Hero are really learning anything about music. "You think of the drum part that John Bonham did on Led Zeppelin's first track on the first album, Good Times Bad Times," he said. "How many drummers in the world can play that part, let alone on Christmas morning?" :lol:

Very true. My guess is that when rock gods like Page were approached by Guitar Hero, they probably had a pitch man try to sell him some snake oil and he didn't buy it.

I mean stop taking yourself so seriously, I know you are a rock god but come on to be asked if you want to be part of a video game because of your music? I wouldn't take it as offensive but rather like giving credit to the legends of music.

I agree. Look at it for what it is...entertainment. But I understand Page getting miffed if the publisher is pitching Guitar Hero as a way to introduce today's youth to yesterday's rock and roll.
