Police certificate for my fiance's interview

Hello everyone!

I have been over researching everything while I've been waiting to hear from the USCIS... it seems to be the only thing I can think about!

Anyways, it brought up a question for me regarding his police certificates. My fiance has lived in 3 different cities since he was 16 and all for over 6 months. Will he need certificates from all three places or just from his current town? (he has been there for over a year now.)

Also, I was wondering how long the London embassy usually takes to give you an appointment after you have returned packet 3? The embassy info page says 10-12 weeks. Have you found this to be true?

I think you will find the link to the thread below to be quite useful with regard to the APCO police certificate. And as long as your fiance has lived only within the UK, then he'll only need one police cert.

As far as the interview scheduling goes, one P3 is returned it typically takes about 4 weeks to hear back - HOWEVER sometimes is DOES take longer, as a few members are currently experiencing. There is a theory that the timeframe may be longer if you fail to enter a travel date and wedding date, or if those dates are several months away.
