Hello my name is mickey this is my situation, me and my mom have applied for AOS in feb with a feb 06, 2009 receipt date, we also applied for EAD for both of us, same time as the i485, this is the reasult of my mom applying for a i130 back in 1997 from her brother to her, and in january 09 the priority date became current, ok now that I got that explained, this is the problem we are having, in march we received a RFE for the following things, they asked her proof of employment for my aunt in laws i864A, because my uncle did not make enough so we included my aunt as well, now the problem is that they are self employed and get paid privately meaning that its either cash or personal check's, they proudly pay there taxes and claim the money they make, but have no actual proof, so we decided to send in a joint sponsor, meaning a whole new person whcih clearly makes above the poverty lines, we got the first online status on may 6, saying they received it and that we should hear from them within 60 days, its been a 50 days now and the last time it was touched was may 11 with no status change, I been trying to look for people in similar situations but no luck, I see many people getting a response pretty quick from when they send there rfe back, Does all this time with no update mean I should be getting another rfe? I wouldn't know what the heck else they would want, I clearly can't send any proof of employment for my aunt and uncle, so I sent a joint sponsor with everything they would ask for, I'm just so stressed cause I want my EAD and so does my mom but that doesn't even show up online, only our i485 and all they say is they received the rfe and will let us know within 60, please someone let me know what should I expect

I have seen more than one AOS time line which shows that they take up nearly all of their 60 days to respond. There's another week and a half left, and THEN you have to wait for the mail. Hopefully you'll see something soon!

Your "proof" would be your income tax filings (1040's with supporting evidence (schedules). But since you have a new co-sponsor, that doesn't matter anymore.

Wait the rest of the 60 days, and if you don't see any progress, call them as indicated on the form.

Thank you for the feed back, if anyone else has more I'm more than welcome, I'm just so worried about getting another rfe, seeing how we didn't really send back everything they asked for, we couldn't, my uncle and aunt do nothave a employer so its not like they can get a letter, basically they freelance they just take care of old people and get paid personal checks or cash, but I did send a whole new i864 as a joint sponsor from a really close family friend, do some people get a response on the 60th day? Or after, I'm just so ready for my EAD I wanna drive, work etc....
