Happy Thursday everyone!

Ash!!! (F) I am gettting ready now to head to the house...we were there till midnight last night...came home passed out :P and we are heading back again. All day/All night...our upstairs painting is almost done and then to knock out the downstairs...which has to be done TODAY as our new furniture is being delivered on Friday afternoon! Grrr...I hate tight schedules...makes me nervous and cranky.

OMG, I just almost had a heart attack from a breakfast cereal. This morning when I got my daughter her Fruit Loops, I rolled the bag up and stuck it into the top of the box... When I went in the kitchen just now, I heard this noise that FOR THE LIFE OF ME sounded like a small bird flapping it's wings around the vicinity of the cupboard... :blink: :blink: Turns out it was just the Fruit Loops falling from one corner of the bag to the other. :P Good morning to me!

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

I have the day off and tomorrow's my work from home day so I'm feeling pretty relaxed today! I have to say that sitting on my back porch I feel so grateful that we get to remain in our home. My neighbor has the most gorgeous gerber daisy that just bloomed in her backyard. It's a bush so I'm psyched to see the rest of them. It's a pinkish/salmon color but so very vibrant!

Husband went to go get his haircut. He has to take two busses to get to this place. I offered to drive him but he said the haircut takes 45 minutes! I'm like you have no hair what on earth could take 45 minutes and he just said I don't understand. I wish he'd find a place closer but this guy is Moroccan and he will only trust him from now on to do his hair. He's very very particular about his hair so much that he didn't get it cut for the first six months he was here since God forbid what if the wrong guy did it. lol.

My daughters are on their way home from their dad's and my 12 yr old has a huge headache and has been throwing up all day. I'm certain they never took her temperature so that's the first thing I'm gonna do. There are a few cases of the swine flu (i can't remember the new name for it) in her school so I'm hoping that's not what it is or we're in for a long haul by the time it rips through our house and my mom's house. UGH. I'm going to go make some dua that this isn't what it is.

Well, it wasn't so bad as when I fell asleep with a gel coldpack on my head, woke up in the dark with it on my chest, and lay there for 5 minutes in a silent panic, wondering how such a HUGE SNAKE had crawled into my bedroom and how I would get it off me without getting bitten. Moments later, when I had mustered up the courage and the gel pack was crashing into the wall on the other side of the room, it was a little embarassing :blush::P

Afternoon everyone, it is hot and humid here in Texas. I quit Wal-Mart and tomorrow I will look for another job. I have several leads and can always go back to the telemarketing place I quit before going to meet Farid in Morocco. Saw they have lots of openings and I know they need good cheap labor. :blink:

I am excited for you Amanda, wohoo. Hope things are going well for you Lisa and the rest of you gals have a great rest of the day. And of course Charles included and anyone else, man woman or child. I have not seen Mauboula comment in a long time, where are you now hiding lady?

just hoppin on to say g'night. I'm still sufferin from da creepy flu. Five days of fever, sneezing, coughing, my whole body hurts. It hurts my head to brush my hair. I have NEVER been this sick. I get maybe one cold a year..like a 2 day cold. This is wearin me out. Thx for the get well wishes.

awe I wish I lived closer hon I make a mean kickazz chicken noodle soup! Hang in there, drink lots of fluids and try to have someone come over to change the sheets, etc. When my mom was younger she would always come over when I had the flu once/day to open my windows and put fresh sheets on my bed. Then she'd make me take a bath and put on fresh jammies. I miss that! She is an RN and at 77 yrs old she still keeps up her credits "just in case" :luv: .

Happy Thursday All-although I can see I have about 10 minutes left of it! Long night- my son's birthday and he had a bunch of teenagers over for a "jam" session. Whew! I am tired!!

Good news- Our case number finally appeared online today! Not sure what that all means, but at least it is SOMETHING and now I see our number online!
