travelling: need your suggestions and advices

Hi guys, I am K1 Visa holder,i will be travelling this August going to NC.

1.my mama will make the wedding dress for me (floor length,semi-serpentina, full beaded bodice)

since it wont be that engrande type of dress, my first thought is just put it inside of my checked luggage, is it wise/safe to do it that way?

2.i want to wear veil,just a simple one (yong sa likod lang di naman takip yong mukha)

- di naman kaya over-dressed ako for a court wedding?

3.i also think of brining with me a year supply of contraceptive pills- ok lang ba yon? di nama kaya maka aberya ako sa custom/immigration? or shall i require a letter from my ob who will prescribe me of these?

i think it would be wise to bring a prescriptions from your doctors for any medications that you would be bringing with you,have a safe trip

2. It is YOUR wedding, so wear whatever makes you happy, I say...

3. I too am bringing a years supply of pills and my sister happens to be an OB GYN and so I am bringing with me a prescription from her. It's better to have a prescription. I suggest you get one.

Absolutely have that prescription with you. Chances are you would have no problems without it but customs can confiscate anything they want with little or no explanation. Probably won't happen considering their bc pills but don't take a chance. Good luck and God bless. Mike

The custom folks can pretty much do anything they want,,, I have done 15 international trips in the last year.

I usually have some prescription narcotics with me,,, and no prescription. Just the label. I have never had them take a second look. And, I suspect that with BC pills,, they are not really a highly controlled substance. That given, get a prescription for peace of mind.

As far as your luggage, You should be fine there. The chances of the TSA agents actually checking your bags is unlikely. And, if they do,,, you will be right there with them.

There are thousands of BC pills here in US. You can get it for cheaper prices too. But if you prefer your pills in Phils. that is good too. I'm just thinking ones you're running out of pills you have to buy it from Phils. It cost a lot of money if your family will buy it for you there in Philippines then mail it to you. There are many alternative BC pills that you can choose from here in US and it's cheap too.

About sa pills,yup pwede ka magdala kahit wala prescription.I brought pills for 6months.Kc pag di ka magdala,di ka agad makakabili d2 ng wla prescription,and before ka bigyan prescription or reseta,need mo muna magpa-pap or dalhin mo din yung papsmear result mo galing dyan.

One VJ member i talk to sometimes,nagdala din sya ng pills nya for 1 year.

Lagay mo sa ziplock bag then Lagay mo lng sis sa check-in mo.

I already finished my 6 months supply pills from pinas kaya nagpa-pap na ako dito kc need ko na ng new pack of pill.I brought my papsmear result too from pinas but malapit na sya mag-1 year so I decided na magpa-pap na lng ako.

I'm taking Tri Nessa 28's now,yan nireseta sken ng doctor.

I checked in my wedding gown together with my flower girls' dresses. I securely wrapped my gown in a plastic bag and then when I got here, we had it dry cleaned. Anyway, where in NC will you be?
