Ours was emailed, Sherill. NVC doesn't approve the visa - the Embassy will approve or deny at the interview.

Congrats, again Mal!

No....my husband got laid off since November 09. We literally ran out of money for the visa process...I've been sending money to him just for his living expenses...he has to go somewhere rural in China to get his certified birth certificate and we have no money for it till earlier this month. So, yeah...we still didn't have out packet 4 sent yet...

It's so sad. I have been avoiding Visa Journey altogether because it's sad reading how others filing at the same time all went through their process and some are united already, while I'm still waiting for this last piece of document to continue the journey.

He finally got his document a couple of weeks ago after finding a job in middle March. Hopefully I will receive it sometime next week and then I can finally get the Packet IV out. But now it worries me that i have no savings at all whatsover as I've been sending all my extra for him....sigh...

Anyway, congrats to every one else who got their visas already...

I can certainly understand why you'd feel sad. I am truly happy for those who get their visas, but I admit that it is tinged with a little jealousy and a LOT of heartbreak for myself. I hope that you are able to move forward quickly.

Just today, our case moved from "pending" to "under review" at the London embassy. Why do I feel like I'm sliding my head under the guillotine blade? It's so scary to know that my security and happiness rest in the hands of a total stranger who is probably calloused to stories like mine.
