Guys, I don't know how to thank you enough. Honestly I was beyond upset last night.

I guess with waiting brings paranoia huh?

Thank you all for explaining it so well for me.

Oh and the shots, I got my hep A and B and a flu shot koz hep A & B I never had and the rest, if I need tetanus or anything, I'll get at the panel doctor now I know I can wait :)

I got a blood test though, just to check my history for vaccines.

I really feel better today. I had been so sick with stress the past few days!!

Hi Donna,

Im glad to know that you are feeling better now! We almost have the same things in mind, the frustration of not being approved and not having NOA2. Remember I posted that we got touched last August 21, 2009? I am not sure if that is a real USCIS update to show that it is on the move cause me and hubby called USCIS that day. Its more that 2 weeks now and no update after that. I am getting frustrated that other people are being approved before us, we filed our papers May 28, 2009 and got the NOA2 on June 8,2009. Im trying to be patient but it feels so unfair to wait like this.

REgarding taxes, I am thinking about that as well as hubby was fired in the hotel where we used to work and he found a job which offers minimum salary.

I hope eveything will be alright and we will receive our NOA2 soon. Im getting crazy waiting for the first approval!

Hey,

Don't worry you will get your approval soon. The only reason I got mine early was because I contacted the senator's office to handle my case and they probably inquired about our case from time to time. People say that if you annoy USCIS they delay your case, but I don't think I believe in this. The senator's office people inquired about our case almost every week and we got approved 2 months earlier than expected. I don't know what else to say, but I hope that you will be approved soon.

Hello malka,

thanks for your message! I really dont how USCIS works. Yesterday, hubby called them and they said that they updated our case August 13, and in our email accout, it was 21st. Anyway, I cannot do anything but to wait! I really hope that it will be with us on friday! If not, have another week to hope and wait! :innocent::unsure:

If your Father In Law is eligible (have the income/assets) and he can Joint Sponsor your spouse (and complete I-864A). This I-864A can only be completed by your Father-In-Law (if your spouse is currently residing with him).

u june peeps are very lucky - count your blessings - especially the peeps from pakistan, I have no idea how you didn't get in AP..

the may thread is practically dead, june approvals are almost caught up with may's. According to Igor's list june has 15 approvals, may has 20.. I don't think any other month ever did this before.

It makes me kick myself for not waiting till june to file mine lol

Hey,

What do you mean you didn't get AP. AP comes after the interview. They better not be racist towards Pakistanis or anybody else, otherwise it won't be fair.

i think they treat male pakistanis differenct from female pakistanis. That's what happened to my coworker's wife. She didn't get any AP because she's a female. But i heard it's tougher for males.

Noo, i have seen forum postings saying that people got shoved in AP during the USCIS stage.. and some people during NVC stage..

They can shove ppl in AP anytime they please, and more than once even..

I'm planning on filing for a PIO card and just going to India to live with my wife instead, and just leave everything else as it is. I'm preety sure I am in AP.. You June guys are getting approvals now and I haven't heard anything yet. I'll probably get stuck in there for months waiting.. I'd rather spend those months with my wife. America has nothing for me if my wife isn't here.

If this stupid AP waiting takes over 6 months to do, its probably better for me to just live in India 6 months and file DCF anyway.

I wouldn't assume you are in AP yet, Baltar. People from May are still getting their approvals. The fact is, USCIS has no rhyme or reason. There are filers in July who've already gotten their approvals. No way of knowing why or how--they just have.

Give it another month. If the majority of us are already approved and you are STILL waiting, then yeah, you may be on to something. But even then, as long as you're within 5 months, there's just no way of knowing.

Hey Baltar,

Your timeline says you just filed your I 130. You are not in AP. The next step for you is your petition getting approved. It's really sweet that you just want to be with your wife. Your 130 will get approved soon. AP comes during the interview process.

I applied for my husband. He got approved for the 130 petition. It might be tougher during the interview, but I am gonna be present for that so they don't deny him the visa.
