yes, it is a very good indian name  thanks for the well wishes.

red thing? Mrs. D? no need to feel left out. anyone can join  you have to have thick skin though, as they can be ruthless  but it is all in (L). oh and it is off topic, so anything, and i do mean anything, pretty much goes. but if you are sweet and gentle, and feelings get hurt easily, i do not advise. it has corrupted me :jest:;)

Hi Everyone,

My question is out of tune! :D but I badly needed your help.

I petitioned my wife who is in the Philippines now (IR1).

Her company will send her here in US for a business trip, but she needs to get a visa first. She's worried because she heard that if there is a pending petition, chances is she will get denied, or even if she gets approval for a tourist visa she might be hold on immigration (port of entry) here in US.

Have anyone here experienced the same way as my wife? Did your petition affect your business travel?

Donna, can you still travel here in US even your petition is on process?

Your inputs are very much appreciated!

Thank you so much guys!

Omg,

I have done the same, but the lady just told me well you have to remember they have a lot of background checks and your husband is in Pakistan and blah blah blah.

I said some people from Pakistan have gotten their approval and from what I understand, they don't do the name checks anymore.

My problem is that I need an interview date in December. I have school right now and they only break I have is in December. But right now even the first step is pending and moreover I dont have a sponsor LOL.

So much for a visa!
