I'm frustrating now..I just checked the info from USCIS about "USCIS Processing Time Information for our

CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER" https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplay.do

It says I-130 Petition for Alien Relative U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21

Processing Timeframe:November 15, 2003

What is this????..I filed on June 2009. How long I have to wait for the whole process? Anybody has any ideas about it? All we can do just pray?

Oh boy! I hope it's not what I understood.

Cheers!

you will see the filing date (e.g., “April 10, 2003”) of the last case we processed on the date the website chart was last updated.

so i hope they done with that case the last case they approved was of that date that is why processing time is like that whenever or maybe the next time they update the site they will update it with most recent apporved case so that case comes in last 5 months period they will update it again like 5 months again

i saw that info too. it changed from "5 months" to "november 15, 2003". that's very odd though. the website says that they updated that chart every 15th of the month. so i guess we have to wait til august 15th to see the updates.

Holy COW!!!!

Was it an expedite or anything like that? First of all, congratulations! Wow!

And you are the proof in the pudding that USCIS has absolutely no set protocol as to how they process.

Congratulations and best of luck on the rest of your journey!

Thanks for you encouraging words MC

Today, the separation was just getting to me. I was talking to my husband, and I just bursted into tears. I think I hid it well, because I didn't want him to be sad too. But as we hung up, it just got to me. Sometimes, I just want to pack up everything, and leave. I know that will not be the wisest thing since I would not want to live with my mom when we return :P I work a lot of overtime, and go to the gym trying to get my mind off of things, but I guess today is just one of those "hell" days. Sorry for the rant, but I know VJers know where I am coming from. Trying to talk to my best girlfriend, and although she really wants to understand, you know she really doesn't. God bless her. Good luck everyone!

I am chiding not to look at things like the USCIS processing times because it'll just depress me, I say we all just try to think positively and be happy for those who get action. It's probably more realistic to watch what is going on here instead koz it tends to work in patterns right?

Anyway guys, keep your chins up!

:) *kisses*

Hello MC! I agree, I am getting depressed and frustrated everytime I check USCIS. Hubby actually changed his password in for the USCIS Login so I won't check it everyday. Hope we will have luck and get in 4 months. Can't wait toi be with my hubby.

Goodluck everyone!

Thank you, Metro! I'm honestly not sure at all how this has happened. I think it might have to do with the fact that I immigrated to Canada from the US to marry and live with him - have been here for 3.5 years.

THat might be a big factor but me and hubby also stayed together in US when we started dating but we can't tell. I am getting depressed and frustrated. Hope we could have the same luck as you do. Congratulations!
