yaaay! good news!

well we will have to do something then!! :D

i just found VJ on twitter.. i dont really go on twitter much but it tells you the processing timelines etc for CSC and VSC... it says 91 days or something like that turnaround for CSC for I-130s... ouch!

Hi guys, I had this grand idea we should gather for a big party in the USA once we all arrive hehe

:) I bet we are all over the USA though once we arrive..

Nothing to report here.... I'm just hanging around stalking the USCIS website!!!

That sounds fun! The husband and I love traveling

Hey, let's see the brighter side, if they stick with the 91 days, that is just the month after next :) September will be here before you know it! We could all be with our family by Christmas. That would be the best gift I could receive

So I've been posting in the wrong forum... Guess I'm a June filer (NOA1 June 6, 2009). I am hoping something good happens to our case. I've not seen any news of a touch or anything on the USCIS website. Do you find out about "touches" by calling customer service?

Hmm I wonder if we will get to the US before thanksgiving!? I am hoping to be there by halloween but we will see...

How's everyone going?

As for the touches, you see them online but I haven't seen one since they cashed my check... :(

My hubby leaves me to go back to the USA on Saturday so I'm trying to be strong and keep positive....

Hi there mrsemcee!

Sounds like you're right on the ball my dear! Sounds like we've got a bit of a rest from NVC now as I was was told that accepting our choice of agent form'll take a few days. It's okay though, still waiting on my Canada-wide name check forms so, it's not like I'm all ready. Plus I'm helping my guy get his AOS package done up and ready to go which hopefully we'll have out by Friday. Hoping we have it all correct and such -- I wonder about things like, is this the right timing we CAN send his AOS package off right, as we did pay the bill. These are things that when I'm at work I have mini freak outs about. Just musing aloud, guys... sorry... :)

Sad that your guy is leaving on Saturday but on the bright side, you had him for a goodlong time and before you know it, you'll be together all the time.

You'll have us here to help get you through the immigration fun times!

:)

Good job with the vaccination stuff, man... that was a little loop thrown to me but I'm just glad I got off my butt and figured it out sooner than not.

Drop me a PM anytime, okay?

Good luck to all you June filers, hope the NOA2s start rolling in...

Best,

LGG

hi lgg and the other friendly june filers!! :D

i am doing ok, i am getting prepared to take my husband to the airport on saturday, he goes back to the USA... :(

i have my passport interview tomorrow to change my name to my married name on my passport so i have correct ID when this is all over..

i also booked in my police check and fingerprints interview for august 14th so i am "pre-preparing" things hehe.

i will book my doctors appointment to get a blood test next week to organise my vaccination history before noa2 comes in.

looking forward to THAT day, thats for sure!

i also start a new job next week, so thats good news. it will keep me going til i leave for the USA finally!

love to all and keep on being happy! *dances* hehe

Wow, that sounds pretty accurate, actually... we got approved after 92 days. Three months on the dime since our NOA1...

No joke, actually.

:)

Seriously, it goes by a lot faster than you think... busy with work and friends and stuff, next thing you know.

But in all honesty, hindsight is 20/20 because while we were waiting for the NOA2, I was a freaking basket case of huge proportion.

Hi there... just an FYI... your case is not even a month in. If I may say, and not being rude here, don't call for while, okay? I know it's hard -- i wanted to call every day but I'm the beneficiary and could not. Good thing, actually. Sometimes, and this is NOT a proven fact, but if you call too often, you could actually slow down your case adjudication a bit. Wait until month 3 at least or something but less than a month in? Don't call yet, it takes less time to renew your Drivers' License...

Just saying...

And good luck -- I do know that it's hard not to call and stuff but I'll tell you, it'll usually get you nowhere unless you're 5-6 months in and thus, past the usual processing time.

I have called uscis, they told me that he would send my info to the help desk but he truly acted like i was bothering him. Call me crazy but i do want to be able to see the touches and check to see that nothing has happened!!

I called today, just to try the customer service route. So frustrating, they just basically read me verbatim what was on the online case status page I was staring at. One interesting note is the processing times on their end were screwy and showed they were complete up to Nov 15th, 2003. So then they transferred me to an officer, who echoed the 5 months timeframe.

They were more compassionate than I expected but still no help really. Best of luck to everyone else, I'm starting to lose my mind waiting on this NOA2.
