Hello,

My aunt US Citizen sponsor her dad to US, but would like to know how long it will take. She received her AOS FEE and send in her 70 dollars. On the website it told her to wait for a letter before sending in all the required document. Do you know how long she have to wait for the letter from NVC. When I check on line it said something about a IV Application Processing Fees of 400 dollar. Do my aunt have to pay that first before she get a letter form NVC. Please help. Thanks in advance.

There are two fees - 1) the AOS fee of $70/petition and 2) the IV application fee of $400/person. Your aunt must pay these before anything else is done. The NVC used to send out letters. Now, it is done online. Three days after paying the fees, the petitioner returns to the site where payment was made to print out the I-864 (AOS) and DS-230 (IV application). Links to instructions on how to file these documents along with supporting evidence are provided after payments clears.

I agree. NVC no longer sends anything in the mail it is all done by email. Follow the instructions given above as they are the correct way to continue the visa process.

You can always phone the NVC is you have any questions about the case. They are very helpful and will guide you through the next step.

I've answered your question already. Follow the instructions at the website where your aunt paid the fees.
