I checked today, and we got a touch on our K-1. NOA1 on 3/12/09 and nothing since and now a touch. Still pending in the USCIS system but nonetheless, we got a touch.

Come on CSC, approve it and set us free !!!!

Congrats, baron. I have a receipt date of 5/4/09 at the VSC and still get the dreaded message "Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283." From what I have read, this is an extremely common problem.

Baron555,

Based on past actions, the USCIS usually processes complete applications within 3 days of the "touching" after the time you have sat. Don't be surprised if you get a letter in the mail before it is recognized on the web site of your approval. Congratulations, you have made the turn and are in the back stretch, to use a horse racing term.

It might be time to get any remaining paperwork assembled and sent off to your fiancee in Russia. You could be in for a great late summer surprise.

Thanks 1HG. All paperwork is nearly ready to go; can fire that off very soon. Have a proven track record with FedEx.

We are both hoping for a late summer surprise so that we can take in some of the Chicago area summer things to do before the weather turns.
