Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

When I see a question like this,, First thing I do is to look at YOUR timeline. You have not kept it up to date, If members don't take the time to fill out their timelines,,, how can we be expected to derive good dates. We all should try to keep our timelines accurate. That I think is a reasonable cost of membership to VJ.

Regards and Good lock for a quick interview,,,

it really depends how they review the case..to get case completion to the corresponding consulate..what i did was after waiting 7 business days from case completion i called nvc, sometimes they would tell you when the package sent out to the beneficiary's country...now as ive mentioned u can give it a try using the dhl site to track ur case..but again no guarantees.. and then while waiting u can also shoot them an email just follow the nvc format...they might be able to help u with that..Ull be fine..in a matter of days, weeks u wont even know its all done this hardships >>> (F) (F)

This response is in favor of 222halo B)

The member does fill in their timeline, the reason he is asking is because he simply wants to know what is the average time of waiting between NVC and Interview, as the member still didn't get their NOA2 and they've been waiting for approval all that time. He just asked a question, and we are here to answer him. Thank you!

My apologies... I DO need to update my time line, however my case is somewhat special. You see, I never received a NOA2... I called the 24 phone service every so often, checked the status online at the website almost every day, and had email notifications turned on... i never received a single thing, the status date never changed on the website nor on the phone service. My wife received a letter from the NVC on May 19. When I called the NVC, the operator said they had our paperwork for about a month. We lost a month.... my wife could have been here one month sooner... Anyways, I guess I'll put something like April 19 for NOA2... since that time, I have been terribly busy with the military, my wife's paperwork, missing tax papers, etc, etc, etc. Currently I have paid the AOS bill, sent in the AOS packet and sent in the DS-3032... still waiting for NVC to get those into the system so I can pay my IV bill and send that packet....

Regards,

Andy

I forgot to mention that I was a total dummy and forgot to let the USPS know that i would be gone from my house for 52 days.... consequently, they emptied my mailbox and sent all my letters back to the original senders... I will have to call the USCIS service center to request an official copy of my NOA2....

they might charge you for the copy.... best ask if it is free.

if not, don't bother... lots of people here told me that the USE manila won't need it or ask for it.

As long as your case is in NVC already, and they complete it.. you're good to go.

Carlish, that was super fast.... i don't think they do a month lately... maybe 1 1/2.

Wish I can have Early August interview.. but it looks bleak since the last one who got an interview date is set for August 5 already. :(

In my case, almost 50 days after case completion. So, it varies. You are lucky if you have your interview less than 2 months after your case completion. Good luck! NVC login failed is the most famous sign that your case will be completed the next day up to 3 days. Go to nvc online payment (site) and once your account fails to log in, then it's a good sign.
