Hi all i am so pissed off, last night me and my mother-inlaw and my nieces went to the fireworks had a great time there, but when we were walking back to our car, this little puppy comes out of nowhere, it was like he was dumped off in all that traffic and people walking all over...Poor thing was scared . So we stood around for a bit asking people and waiting to see if anyone lost a puppy. Nope so now it is with my mother-inlaw. I have a feeling she will be keeping it.. The puppy is lucky it found us there was no way in hell we would just walk away from it...

But what do people do this???? It is a poor helpless animal!!!

People that do stuff like that are w*****s  ......mercifully there are also people like you and your MIL that care and do something about it!

Well done you for rescuing the poor baby :star:

Our Second Anniversary

I want to succeed in America where, unlike Britain, they do not regard ambition as being the same as eating babies.

The National Rifle Association says that, "Guns don't kill people, people do," but I think the gun helps, you know? I just think just standing there going, "Bang!" That's not going to kill too many people, is it? You'd have to have a really dodgy heart to have that happen.

There's a huge hole in the whole Flood drama, because anything that could float or swim got away scot-free, and it was the idea to wipe out everything, He didn't say, "I will kill everything, except the floating ones and the swimming ones, who will get out due to a loophole."

The fireworks could have easily scared the puppy away from its home. Maybe he dug his way out of his backyard trying to run from the noise. I would certainly post it in your local paper just in case. If it is a case he was just dumped, well some people are just ignorant.

He could have jumped out of someone's vehicle and they are searching for him. Might be a good idea for MIL to advertise that she found a lost dog at the fireworks on 7/4.

If the owner never turns up, looks like pup got lucky and found a good home.

Just read Bethanie's post and that very thing happened to a friend of mine. Her dog was frightened by fireworks one year and bolted through a gate. He was never found.

Yes she is going to try to see if anyone is looking for there puppy, would not want to keep a puppy that belongs to someone else, she is putting it in the paper today.

You would not believe how many people had there dogs with them at the fireworks i am like those poor things are going to be so scared, or maybe they are not afraid of loud bangs.

Didn't go anywhere for fireworks. The neighbors felt they needed to have a fireworks display sometime during the night, waking me up as well as causing one of my poor dogs to try to climb in bed with me(something she has never been allowed to do). People are just ignorant, I can't believe anyone would take a pet or an infant to a fireworks show.

People who take their animals to fireworks displays, or even dare to leave them in their cars should be arrested. It's disgusting and selfish behaviour

in many places, leaving an animal in a car is against the law. try it on a military post sometime and you'll find some very peeved mp's waiting for you on your return. oh, and a broken window to get the pet out free of charge

I take mine to displays.. however its not some place like six flags where my dog gets freaked by

people and loud sounds. I take him to my job and we go to the upper deck where its quite and

his ears dont hurt..

Dogs are not allowed at the pond on July 4th where we go to fireworks. Just as well, because I don't know of a single dog who would actually enjoy or appreciate them. My puppy is terrified of loud noises.

It breaks my heart when I see abandoned dogs and cats. I've adopted lots of them. They'll put boxes with puppies in front of my house and such. I've rescued kittens during a pouring rain crying in the bushes. My favorite pet of all time, one of my cats, was found like this. My current cat is also a stray cat I found this way. My granny's dog (passed away a bit ago) was also a stray dog that would sleep in front of my gate, we ended up adopting her.

But I adopt less than I wish I could, and I get heart broken when I see one that I can't take home.
