HELP: Petitioner lost job b4 beneficiary filled AOS

Hi to everybody,

i jst wish that what happened yesterday was jst a dream..my husband(petitioner) jst lost his job..the company where he was working jst filed Bankcrapcy..so theirs 2,500 people lost their job yesterday bcuz of what happened..

--so what im worried right now is that were jst gonna file my AOS (K-1 visa) nxt month..what are we gonna put on the AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT..?his unemployed now..we dont have the employers letter..how is he going to fill out the affidavit of support if he hasnt have a job..?

PLS help me..he doesnt have any income to put on the AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT..

Get a new job or get a co-sponsor.

Unemployment benefits count as income. He doesn't need an employer letter if he has paystubs (or proof of direct deposits). Include a letter stating that he was employed until XX-date, then began receiving unemployment benefits as of xx-date, and provide corresponding proof.

--my question is if my mother in law will be my co-sponsor does my husband still needs to fill out the affidavit of support of it is jst my mother in law..?

If you have a co-sponsor - no issues if he doesn't get a job by the interview.

Yes - both your husband and his mother will need seperate forms. Each will need to provide their own evidence (latest tax year returns/w-2/income).

If you have a co-sponsor - no issues if he doesn't get a job by the interview.

Yes - both your husband and his mother will need seperate forms. Each will need to provide their own evidence (latest tax year returns/w-2/income).
