My wife has her interview coming up soon and I am debating if I should with her for interview or not? The reason I say that is because I resigned from my job in the US and decided to spend sometime with my wife back home and didn't expect her interview call to come while being back home.

I want to go with her for moral support, but afraid that the interviewer might end asking my job status from me? If that happens my answer would obviously be that I am currently not working. This might lead them to have someone else provide affidavit of support.

Anyone with a similar experience?

hey

I agree with u

it might create more problem if he ask u a question

remember u will be under oath

just stay away from the interview

that is the best u can do

good luck

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Well what if interviewer ASKS HER your job? What is she suppose to say? Want her to lie to C/O ? No not a good thing.

Dont put your wife in that spot alone.

Will not hurt if you attend, may be the best thing under your current situation!! Think about it.

I went to my husbands interview and I am glad i went. If you know each other there is no problem and it was a lot better for my husband that I was there.

I also went to my husband's interview, and we were both sworn in. The CO definitely wanted to know about where I work and what I do for a living. He was checking my I-864 thoroughly while interviewing us.
