Welcome back, Spirit. I was wondering how you were doing.

Hope things turn out alright, Stacey. Though I'm kind of confused at them doing a biopsy for a rash.

I hope they finally get your room fixed, Trailmix.

Okay, gotta run. See you all in a few weeks. :)

Oh! Congratulations on the boat, Cat!

ok, after a stressful day yesterday I went out and did some 'retail therapy' today at one of my favourite places -a thrift store. I got a golf shirt for Joe, 1 t-shirt and 2 blouses for me, a pair of long pants, 3 pair of shorts, a belt and 3 books for me. Grand total? $7.10. They had a half price sale on! God, I love thrift stores! (This one was called Blessings - the money goes to support a woman's shelter).

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I had a friend who just had a biopsy for a skin rash.. I think it was to determine if there was a presence of gnats or something that might be eating her flesh :P

FILTER.. I should use it!!! :(

Sorry Miss Stacey.. what I meant to say is that this person has an itch over her entire body and they can't find any reason for it (medication etc).. so they are thinking it must be a bug / or something that is doing it to her. She described a biopsy as the test to find out what might be biting her :(

LOL.

The rash started on my back quite a while ago- I was tanning at the time so assumed it was a heat rash, but it didn't really go away and I haven't been tanning. And then it popped up quickly on my neck recently.

It very may well be some type of bug- I have been having bad reactions to bug bites here. The bites I get are so itchy and drive me nuts- benedryl helps though. But the rash I have hasn't really been itchy.

She did give me prescription for some cream- and a sample of it.

Poor you Stacey. :( Skin stuff is no fun.

My skin has been a disaster since arriving here. It really doesn't like the heat or humidity. I broke out in a crazy rash after July 4th. Turns out it was Candida. Never had that before and it spread like crazy. Some anti-fungal cream helped bunches.

I've been one sexy wife since living here. Chris is a lucky man.

Hello wonder-Full VJers!

Traveling, friends galore, sailing, dharma teaching retreats, 40-day yoga challenges, and more.

*phew!*

I'm getting off on this incessant heatwave in the PNW and CSW (Canadian South West, hee hee).

Locals are not used to it, and neither are the plants.

Well, that's my news in a tiny nutshell.

Wishing you all happy moments.

:star: Spirit :star:

Nice to see you Spirit :star:

So we did finally get a sailboat on Friday. So if you're ever in these neck of the woods, my husband will need someone to crew, cause I basically suntan and get tipsy.

Love the nails, baby.

Sure, twist my rubber arm.

You know....I'm trying to find work on Oahu to bring me there for the Winter (if not "forever").

I have secured a client there for design freelance work (from home).

A few more gigs and I'm all set!

Whee!!!

PS that's usually what the wives of boat owners do...hee hee

Sorry to hear about all the skin issues.

Please start with one metaphysical thing:

see where in your life you are either:

1. not accepting something

2. needing some attention

Hmmm....yes, I know it sounds weird.
