one of my hubby's dreams is to visit all the major baseball stadiums in the US.. he has seen 2 so far, Dodger Stadium and the Angels Stadium.. he has a long way to go :P

we are going to the Petco Stadium in San Diego next month though..

So.

I booked my room in Toronto for the night at the Delta Chelsea in downtown... I asked for 1 adult and 1 child.

My mother then phones me because she has magic powers and starts talking about my trip and I tell her I am booking the hotel and she says:

"Oh WE'RE staying there?"

and I paused and went: "Umm we?"

And she said: "Umm yea"

She told me she didn't want to go a couple of weeks ago. I only booked the room for Ethan and I... and no its not a big deal but it kind of is, only because Ethan gets super depressed when its time to leave grandma. So I figured a fun day and night in Toronto with just us would be a good idea and it would help him forget that he's going back to school/reality/etc.

my grandma liked to watch Little house on the Prairie or Hawaii Five-O and of course her ABC soaps (All my children, One live to live and General Hospital) so when I stayed with her that is what I would watch too ..lol

We have this channel down here called RFDTV and they show reruns of a old time variety country music type show called Hee Haw. Hubby is srsly hooked on that show. I mean, it's from the very early 70's. The country music my parents listened to...and forced me to listen to.

If I sit down and watch ONE episode of LHOP then I will srsly not get any housework or schoolwork done at all. Srsly. :blush:

Yea I am going to talk to my mom about it.

She's usually understanding about that kind of stuff.. but its still hard. I thought I told her once already but maybe there was a misunderstanding.

OMG, I can't freaking STAND Hee Haw. I remember moving from civilisation to Nowhere, NB and we had two channels. One had Hee Haw and the other had the news. OMG, I freaking HATED it there!!!!

Which reminds me, I saw an ore ida french fry commercial the other day and the song was Stand Tall

That's weird. While I was making supper this evening a commercial came on the radio with that exact same song! I took note of it because it was one of my late husband's favourites. It must have been released for commercial use recently.

Okay. Going to bed now. Nite all.

Good morning! It's Friday...and someone's birthday? ;) No...not mine! We had a lovely supper and visit with my g/f from Alberta yesterday. Her and her husband are SO sweet! We didn't get home until 10:30 pm so we're a wee bit tired this morning! Gene had to work today. I have a follow-up dentist appointment this morning to check on my surgery from last week. Things have finally settled down in that department.

Going to see some specialists today. Mike took the day off to come with me which is nice. I have not been looking forward to this day at all. Oh well better to get fixed up now then to continue on not knowing what's wrong. Hopefully they figure everything out.

He is off to NASA today, just to take the tour and they are playing a star wars movie at 4:30 at their IMAX - he might stay and see that too.
