It's so ridiculous! He denied it, but either way - who cares!! Maybe he doesn't believe in eating the wafer or whatever, maybe that's not his religious beliefs. And really, whether he did or not, why is it dominating the news

I don't blame him, communion wafers taste like cardboard.

If he's not a Catholic (which I know he's not) he should never have received or accepted the communion in the first place. I went to a Catholic school and it simply was not acceptable for a non catholic student to go up and accept the host if he or she was not a practicing catholic. Not saying I agree, or even really care, but why would Harper accept it in the first place? Discarding of the "body of Christ" leads one down the path of eternal damnation

Sooo I was standing at the bathroom sink, minding my own business, when out of the corner of my eye I spotted something on my shirt, top of my arm. So I swat it off and it was a tiny lizard.

Fine, but now it has gone under the bathroom cabinet!! So I have put towels in front of the door - but I mean reaaalllyyyy.

I hate those tiny lizards... although I'd much rather have a lizard then a roach!!

Okay can someone enlighten me on why all the Italian Salami here tastes like summer salami or is just generally crappy?

All I want is some nice Mastro Genoa Salami... can't seem to find anything :(

I like the lizards here too, my younger two love to catch em. They play with them for awhile then send them home.

But I hate the roaches here they are as big as a bus its crazzy.

Sapphire I wish they had some good salami here too, I did find one brand once it wasn't too bad but still not the same. Also I miss Italian sausage, the kind they have here sucks.

Ok heres a question I have i've been looking online reading up on flea and tick stuff and heart worm preventative.

Now my 8yr lab has been on frontline plus and heartguard since we moved here.(never needed it before in the Sault heart worm stuff that is) It seems to work great no problems. Now our 7mos old lab is on Revolution I'm not sure its working plus I think its making her itchy.

The reason I think its not working is she keeps getting fleas and we just had to remove a tick off of her. The older lab had a years supply of her meds, but the Vet for the puppy put her on something different and thats why they are on 2 different things. Now if the Revolution was working I wanted to put them both on it, but i'm not sure it is. Plus I hear its not really good for heart worm protection. So if anyone has any thoughts these meds it would be helpful so i can make up my mind. The heart worm thing scares me it pretty common here i'm told and I really don't want my dogs getting sick.

He obviously isn't aware of protocol with regard to The Host. If you haven't been confirmed you cannot partake and would normally keep your hands clasped together and just accept a blessing. And it's not just the Catholics who celebrate the Eucharist, Huggles. :)

Aren't you in NYC, Sapphire? There should be lots of Italian delis where you can get proper meats.

Just let Meowmix in the room.

I was just thinking that.

So the front panel does not come off! Took a think strip thing and ran it under the cabinet - nothing...I hope it's still under there!

We have tiny lizards here too - salamanders, skinks and anoles. I really like them. They climb up the outside screens from the back garden and drive the cats wild. The cats keep trying to jump at them and capture them through the screens, and then the lizard scurries a little bit further and the cats jump some more . . . I have removable inner screens so they can't damage the outer screens. Those lizards provide them with hours of fun - just think what they would do if they actually caught one. (Actually, the outside stray cat chases them too - when she catches them generally the tails fall off and the lizards scurries away if they're is lucky. I have rescued a few as well but sometimes the cat wins.)

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
