Rhiann-Yes...That is true..and one of them was a twin pregnancy too...

So yeah, 4 babies lost in a matter of a year....:crying:

Oh well, "it wasn't meant to be at the times", I suppose...

Either way glad it all worked out well in the end, the 4th time around....

(though was wondering if that one would work out too..especially with the stress of it all..didn't help in dealing with the USCIS at that time either..lol..)

Definitely worth it for my son, nevertheless!....:)

So to all of you who are trying...Don't give up! It will all work out well in the end...:)

The rolls of rice with seaweed is known as Maki.

Sushi is the vinegar ed rice - or nigiri (rice with fish on top).

Sorry, hubby really loves Japanese food. :)

ahhhhh but you just never know how your tastes might change!! I couldn't eat ground beef when I was preggy. Made me sick!

Ugh. Ain't that the truth. With my first pregnancy, all I could keep down was Red Delicious apples for the 1st trimester. For my 2nd pregnancy it was milkshakes. For 3 entire months I consumed nothing but Red Delicious apples or milkshakes. Yeah. I don't consume those anymore. They've joined Kraft Dinner and peanut butter in the list of things I no longer eat. :dead:

I had no problem eating when I was pregnant, no upset tummy, nothing. I was young and fit and I never felt ugly, it never occurred to me to feel ugly. I also smoked and I had a drink too once

My Son is an incredibly intelligent, healthy 6' 2" person.

I'm confused...I was telling hubby the other day that I should have odd preggo-related cravings but I don't. I still like the food I like, no odd cravings...yet. I also warned him about the mood swings and puking, but none yet. ??? Other than getting zits, peeing more frequently and getting fatter, my pregnancy has been pretty uneventful.

I'm with you on this one, Raven. I have a little acne, but that has affected me my whole life. I would like to b1tch-slap all those people who said acne would go away after your teen years. What a lie! I am gaining weight, too, but that is because of my recent need for jelly doughnuts, not the baby

Ant - I had a miscarriage this spring (first pregnancy ever). What a horrible experience, but yours would be way worse because mine was unplanned and happened a week after I found out I was pregnant, so I didn't have much time to internalize it emotionally. I don't know how I would deal with it now, it would be wrenching.

I just noticed that the google ads at the top of the page are completely related to whatever is being discussed in the thread you're in at the time. At first I was alarmed by the "Foods to avoid during pregnancy" message...

I'm not sure what else can go wrong this year for our family, but my mother's house caught on fire this morning. She's in Quebec visiting family and my cousin and his fiancee (read, got engaged just this Christmas day) were going to stay at her house for a day or two since its empty. My brother stopped by yesterday night, they had a few laughs made a fire, and went to bed.

Cousin got up to the smell of smoke in the house this morning.

http://www.cbc.ca/canada/edmonton/story/20...imney-fire.html

The kitties were all accounted for and well. Maximus ran away down the road but I am sure he'll show up in a day or two. The other two have moved in with my brother.

We just bought our plane tickets to go home in February. To watch the Olympics on TV in front of the fireplace and hang out for a week. :crying:

Seriously this has been one f-ed up year this year. Only 2 more sleeps to go and luck is changing.
