To all you preggy ladies...Be careful what you and your unborn baby eat!...

Certain foods are a no-no while pregnant....for example, sushi...

Sushi isn't the fish - sushi is actually the rice. It's okay to have sushi that doesn't have the raw fish in it.

Reading that list, too, while good info, really boils down to be careful about food cleanliness.

I never watched what I ate when I was pregnant. ( course that was 23 yrs ago!)

However, I do warn that overloading on black licorice can be a little more hazardous to your waistline... :whistle:

Lol....Whatever....Good idea to avoid the raw fish though....no matter what it's called.....

Either way....Be careful, whatever you eat while pregnant!

And make sure food is cooked throughly and prepared properly, regardless...

I'll just cut back on it. Not like I eat sushi, med rare steak and stuff like that that much right now anyway :lol:

ahhhhh but you just never know how your tastes might change!! I couldn't eat ground beef when I was preggy. Made me sick! :wacko:

Mal is right about the rice. Whenever I get bad sushi, it's because the rice is waaay overcooked or hardened because it's old.

Yeah. Basically you have to consume mass quantities of any one-bad-thing in order for it to be bad for the baby.

Yep! Like they say that women of child bearing age shouldn't have more than one can of tuna over a period of time (I think it's a week or a month, can't remember right now).
