I'll write one for the fun of it.

Roses are red,

Cat's tounges are pink,

I wouldn't look now,

But your cat's sitting in the sink.

Something random I made up on the spot. Haha.

My fiance's one cat sits in the sink sometimes. Who knows why.

i didn't have much of a good weekend, i was going to help someone move from one house to another - but woke up sick and spent all day in bed.

Both my cats love the sink. The kitchen sink, the bathroom sink...even the bathtub! One of the cats will even continue laying there after you turn the water on

Good morning! Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Awww, sorry you weren't feeling well this weekend! Moving is yucky business, and something I don't offer to help on anymore, unless it's to make lunch, or supervise kids! Nessa spanking you.

Thanks for the coffee Carlawarla -- am at my in-laws and the FIL insists on warming the house with a wood stove, which makes the family room very cozy, but keeps the guest room freezing! Developing pneumonia as I type...

I love the smell of wood stoves. Reminds me of my grandparents house.

I am just tying up loose ends today. Leaving for Canada tomorrow morning! :D

Santa brought presents for us this weekend too - Spoom got DJ Hero for the Wii, a book he'd asked for, and the first season of True Blood (we're both TB fans). I got A wii-mote and nunchuk, a book by the Dalai Lama, and (backordered) the entire SERIES of Red Dwarf. I put it on the list as an afterthought, and figured no one would actually buy it. Hurrah! Now I can torment Spoom with days of british comedy :P

I always have to have the last word.

If you write a quick poem, I'll let you have the last word tonight. :P

Damn, I went to bed before I read this. That's okay though...I don't mind when someone else gets the last word. But just for the hell of it, here's a Petrarchan sonnet, just for you (and Oscar). :P

For Oscar

Oh MrsCat, I miss the user pic

Of Oscar with his creepy head askance--

It freaked me out at every little glance

And triggered an unconscious nervous tic;

The image of his tongue outstretched to lick

The air itself would make me soil my pants,

And even his demonic feline stance

Was quite enough to get me feeling sick.

I've sought out doctors, begged them for the cure

For my dread fright of Oscar -- they concur

That they can cut that portion from my brain;

So now I'm in O.R., and they are sure

An Oscarphobic outbreak will occur

If I just look upon him once again!

It's cold outside...there's no kind of atmosphere

I'm all alone...more or less...

Let me fly far away from here

It's fun, fun, fun

In the sun, sun, sun...

I haven't seen Red Dwarf in about a decade! It was always so hilarious.

My buddy back in high school had the whole series on VHS. We sat down one summer and watched the entire thing. He bought me tapes for my birthday, christmas, etc. so I have a few of the 3-ep vhs tapes rattling around here....but nowhere near the whole series.

Spoom's only seen bits and pieces of it, and hasn't decided if he likes it yet. The whole show just cracks me up.
