Good morning! Tonight we head out to the hockey game. I'm so excited! Since we're in such a great location for perhaps TV cameras, I looked to see what I could wear tonight, and I have a red fleece zipped sweater with the name Canada on the shoulder with a gold maple leaf. So, if you see someone on TV like that, it's me!

Enjoy your day!

Good morning - have a great time Carla!

Blah the game tonight is on PPV, so we won't see it (not that I care about the hockey, but I would have had a look for you and Gene since Mike would have the game on anyway  )

I was filling out my AOS paperwork and noticed my fiance has his A# still.

I never knew they'd actually put it on the NOA2, even after he got his citizenship.

You learn something everyday.

Good morning! Wow, what an awesome time at the game we had! Incredible seats and the food wasn't half bad either...maybe because it was free? We were in the club section for supper, then they served us food and drinks in our seats as well. The pregame ceremony for Brett Hull's acceptance into the Hockey Hall of Fame was nice, short and sweet. He got to pick his "dream team" from previous players during his time with the Blues and they attended. The most cheers were for Curtis Joseph, Brendan Shanahan, and the fans erupted for Wayne Gretzky. I cried during the playing of the Canadian National Anthem. Very moving. Don't know that I've ever been to a public event since I've moved here that played my National Anthem. The Blues won 4-3.

Enjoy your day today!

Glad u enjoyed the game!! Once I read online that Kipper wasn't playing, pretty much new it wasn't going to be a good outcome for the flames!! They would be soooo hosed if kipper got hurt!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Good morning all.

You know working at a country club during the holiday season makes me ask this one big question:

What the hell do gold diggers do for their spouses on Christmas?

One just walked out telling me she bought her sugardaddy husband a new golf bag and some shirts.

Err with his credit card obviously right? So he's like buying himself that stuff.

Just one of the very many thoughts that plague my mind.

I'm just slightly annoyed as when it went down I had just written a reply to a post - although I should have copied it before I hit reply - because I already knew they were having problems (yay! I just looked and it was saved woo hoo!).

Glad the game was great Carla! Even if the flames didn't win.

I have just spent the last 4 hours looking at apartment and house rentals
