Wyatt is in the Lower Mainland - specifically Langley. :P

Don't remind me!!!!!

I'm not a fan of this "city"...

But Misty? I absolutely agree with you. I've driven the Coquihalla scores of times, and have always enjoyed it...other than the one time I was driving it back to Vancouver in the early morning AFTER a surprise snowstorm (it was late March, after all). I was in a Mazda 626, and managed to make it through...but most of it was on hard packed snow, and it was down to one lane, due to the sheer accumulation of snow in the other lanes. I got stuck behind a semi, and wouldn't you know it...my windshield washer fluid system wasn't working! It was pretty treacherous, but I remained calm and got through it. :)

My current car is likely better equipped to deal with snowy conditions...though NO vehicle is well-equipped for the Coquihalla when it's at its worst. So I'll be keeping my eye on the forecast once Christmas hits. It's really a craps shoot as to how it's going to be at Christmastime.

At least it isn't Abbotsford or Mission, Wyatt.

Very, very true. It seems the further out you go, the worse it gets. I mean, once you hit Hope, you're basically playing a banjo and looking longingly at your relatives.*

*Just in case there's anyone from Hope here, please note that I am only joking. Inbreeding only starts at Spuzzum.

Heh...I know what you mean about snowstorms and being stuck behind large trucks for the whole trip. That just doesn't seem to happen down here, hehe. I discovered after awhile though that I didn't really mind being stuck behind a large truck for long trips since I figured if a big moose was to come trotting out (they did that alot in PG,) the big truck would hit it, and not little ol' me.

I've never actually stopped in Langley, so I can't really relate with you on why you'd hate it. I liked Vancouver though :star:
