Hey guys???

How long after your medical do you find out if you passed? I have to say, I am totally freaking out about it!!!! I mean, I'm pretty sure I have none of the things that they're concerned with, like I'm almost certain, in fact.

But I keep thinking, Oh my GOSH, what if I DO have T.B. and I just never knew it? What happens if when they take my x-ray they find a HUGE cancerous mass in there and I never even knew it?

I know. I'm a bit uncool and a paranoid freak.

So, how long until I know that I'm sound?

I feel awesome -- I exercise a lot but I let myself slip into the land of oh now, what if....

:(

Oh Lgg, you paranoid nutcase. You're going to be fine.

On another note, I just found out that I am eligible (pending finding out my ancestor's name) to apply for membership to two of the federally recognized Cherokee tribes. Going to have to do some research when I move back to Florida.

Montreal: BEAT!!! Approved!!!!!

You don't really ever find out that you "passed". But if you get the sealed envelope back with the giant xray, that means you passed.

If theres something wrong with your medical results they will tell you. If they don't say anything then you're good to go! Don't worry lgg. Unless you have HIV or TB you should be good. Oh, and if you're a drug adict. So lay off the crack :P

I don't know how long it "should" take. I was missing a shot and had to fax them confirmation after I had it done, so for me it took about a week to get sorted out.

Poor lgg - I really do understand what you are going through!

While nothing we can say will ease your apprehension (probably) hang in there, the whole thing will be over soon (with your successful medical in hand!) - keep looking forward

Oh yeah, its completely understandable. I was more nervous for the medical then the actual interview. I was so nervous the doctor thought I had high blood pressure because I was freaking out. He went back and checked it a second time and it was fine. So, the apprehension is totally normal, really. You'll be great!

Yea it's hilarious. They'll be back together in no time.

They're a messed up couple. They make out at family functions... it's totally gross.

Ugh. My best friend's cousin and her boyfriend (adults in their thirties) got kicked out of their bank manager's office for making out. The guy got totally grossed out and told them to get out... and they're not taking this as a hint that maybe the rest of the world finds them disgusting too.

Ha!!!!

That made me laugh.

I told this nasty couple at my second job (tons of kids, family environment, busy weekend) to freaking stop it when they were grinding and rubbing and she was grabbing his *ahem*

Seriously people? That is just sick.

The guy gave me attitude and told me to pretty much STFU, I got them booted.
