so we are going to this Christmas Dinner in a few weeks at the apartment complex where my FIL lives... they do a gift exchange thing that I said that the hubby and I would be a part of... well, I really don't feel like buying anymore gifts so I was thinking of just doing up a couple tins of goodies for the exchange.. but then I was thinking that a lot of the people that live where my FIL live are older and maybe they have dietary concerns, so now I am not so sure

so I think I have decided to make mini cranberry orange muffins to give as gifts for this thing :P

Well you know who kittyfang is correct? Well after she got beaten in to the ground she exited VJ. A few people googled her username which took them to a yahoo QandA page where there is a user called kittyfang who asks about being out of status and about getting a Canadian passport without proper ID - which is something the VJ kittyfang asked about. (if you google her username you can easily find it)

Anyway, I believe there is a post in there from about 2 years ago, where she had some kind of run in with the law.

That's the back story.

Good morning everyone! I've not been sleeping well the past few nights. I have way too many things on my mind, and little things that I have to get done, that I'm either just forgetting, or not getting around too. I wake up at about 3 a.m. and then my mind is racing, remembering all that I have to do the next day. Needless to say, I can't sleep. Then I get up, but because Gene is sleeping, I can't be banging around doing things. I end up reading, relaxing, which is good...probably better than tossing and turning and frantically worrying, but it still means things aren't being done...

Enjoy your coffee! I'm not on-line now until Monday.

Merci for the coffee :)

// waking up because of "stuff" used to happen to me and I was going mad (waking up, not being able to go back to sleep, being tired, getting nervous of forgetting stuff, waking up the next night  ) - I read that it can be helpful to write a list of the "stuff" to be done, to be remembered, and all before going to bed and it does help - I still do it when I feel too busy to remember everything. Some nights, I still wake up but I remember that it's ok, I wrote it down... and I'm able to go back to sleep.

Have a nice weekend :)

I'd offer to take over coffee duties, Charles, but I've been having trouble getting JUST the right mix with this new coffee maker. I feel like the guy near the beginning of Mulholland Drive..."napkin!"
