Dear Canadian friends,

It is with enormous sadness and a knot in my throat that I inform you of the passing to calmer waters of the Mother of my adored hermano IR5FORMUMSIE. A strong and caring woman who loved shopping, made the best biryani North of 50, and raised smart and loving sons; she passed at home last Friday, December 4th. She will always be in our hearts. Brother IR5 asked me to relay the news to you all.

May She rest in Peace. (F)

Oh noooooooooo. I am so sorry, Mumsie. How very very very sad. :(

Gosh, Peachey. Sorry about Lady too. What a sad day. :(

Couldn't sleep last night. There was a helicopter flying around for about an hour searching the area for someone. (That's not why I couldn't sleep, though. lol) I guess they really wanted their man. Sometimes it's very surreal living in the US.

It looks like Tiger Woods' wife was taken to hospital early this morning. :(

My sister and her husband arrive in a few hours. It'd be nice to go back to bed for a bit more sleep but I don't have the time. Excited to see them, though!

So my daughter received her Christmas present from her boss and his wife at their company party on Saturday. They gave her a gift certificate for a salon in Yorkville and a personal consultation with a well known stylist. She can either have him pick items out for her or they go shopping together. And they have given her $5,000 to go shopping with!! :o

She also won a $100 gift certificate for Petrocan and $100 for a roadhouse... I think it was Casey's or something..... at the party.

We were laughing about whether she should take this personally or not.... but everyone else in the company received the same gift. :lol:

I think I got a turkey once. <_<
