ok so I sent an email a little white ago and I just got one back and the mom says "Did CT scan and no abscess found, but he has a sinus infection that could possibly effect eye muscle. Going to Ophthalmologist today."

I am relieved that he doesn't have an abscess ..

That reminds me of my stepson. He was staying with me for a few months as he had a job in the area. One day I came home from work and there he was all cuddled up on the couch with a blankie and the fire going. The first words out of his mouth were "I've been waiting for you to come home alllllll day. I am sick. And you make the BEST hot toddies. *sniffle sniffle cough*" Gotta love the men. They always turn into great big sucks when they're sick. LOL

I think I just got my first ever scam donation phone call :o

Basically it was a really short short spiel about this new Aids drug for babies, something along the line of - if they vaccinate the children within x amount of time after being born they have a 98% chance of never getting Aids. So they are asking everyone to donate either $150 or $300.

So I say, sure! Then they put me through to Antonio in the billing department. I explain to him that I don't have a credit card so I will have to mail the money in, I give him a fake name and my address - he said they would send me an envelope to send the money back to them.

I must say he sounded a little disappointed as "we normally like to have a credit card so your money can start working faster"

if ur a fan of the Trans Siberian orchestra, you can download their xmas CD, all 27 songs for $3.99!! You dont get the CD, download them as a MP3! And if ya use Itunes, goes directly into ur itunes! just downloaed them onto my wifes computer, very easy!!

at amazon :

http://www.amazon.com/Night-Castle-Amazon-...FTAWPF76NYNYB22

or just search on amazon, and u will see it for $3.99

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

 I always get so excited when It snows a little so I can wear my Ugg's. Its not like they're the best looking things on earth, but they are so comfortable and warm! Its like walking around with a fleece blanket tied around your feet.

Awww!! I WISH my husband would act like that. When he gets sick he refuses to admit it to himself and anyone else. He will go out of his way to try to hide it from me and just says, "I'm fine! Its just a little tickle in my throat" or something lame. I literally need to FORCE him to take any sort of medication, he's so stubborn and refuses. He'll go to work anyways and walk outside in a t-shirt when its 10 degrees out. Then he makes ME sick and I always get it worse for some reason... Or Its just that I'm more whiny about it :P
