I probably could use a diet. But you try working for a place that makes you amazing food every single day! YOU TRY IT! *drops into the fetal position and cries*

:P

I worked for Coldstone Creamery (an AWESOME ice cream place) here for about 6 months, and you got a free bowl of ice cream every day. If I hadn't quit after 6 months, you'd have had to roll me outta that place!

You are CRAZY woman.

Seconded.

It wasn't bad. I went alone, which is the way to do it. You go in with your game plan, don't wander around, in and out. It was easy, just a longer line but I had less than 7 items so it was express in and out for me.

I was in at 5:30 and out by 6:00. I think if I do it next year, I'd show up earlier. It's weird being out that early in the morning and seeing people up and about. The savings made it worth it though. I didn't think it would be as crowded as it was, but the crowds were fairly calm. I didn't think the savings would matter, but thats money I can spend on... MORE PRESENTS! :D Haha!

My wife is doing this right now and has been texting me every 30 minutes so I can feel safe in knowing she hasn't been trampled. I begged her not to go near a Walmart until later but luckily she heavily dislikes that store as well so she didn't go. It seems every year those nutbars end up killing someone trying to get to the back of the store lol.

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

I didn't go to Black Friday, I had no means of getting there.

My poor fiance had to start work at 3:45am.

I did see something that made me laugh though, about 20 tents outside and around Best Buy at 6:30pm!

Only in America.

I just got back from Target. I woke up thinking: "it won't be so bad" and left at about 5:30... wasn't in a rush. Got to target and the freaking parking lot was completely full. I was like: "####### is wrong with this people?" and then I realized I was one of them... :P

I need to buy a digital camera and I need one that has a dual voltage 110/220 adapter for the battery charger. I suppose I could buy a camera and a charger separately but that seems kind of annoying.

Right now someone in this building is having their carpets cleaned, it's a truck mounted thing so of course they have come in through the front door and we have the accompanying roar of the cleaner.

I bought stuff online!! Got me a new 32" Samsung HDTV for the office and a new Fuju film F70EXR digital camera! Both from Dell, and if ya used BING.com, you got an extra 20% off!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I really like BING, and it does work! Have used it once before and saved nearly another $40 off our Garmin GPS. If ya have never used bing, you goto Bing.com and one sees a search box, type in what ur looking for, and in the next window the result are shown. if by the biottom of that link you see BING CASHBACK, that stor offers $$ back. can vary from a few % to a lot---Like today Dell was offering 20% back from Bing! As well one can click on SHOPPING,then click on CASHBACK stores, for a list of stores that participate and how much they offer! Keep in mind it takes 60 days to get ur $$$, so it is not quick, lol but it adds up! On most stores, ontheir checkout, one sees the BING symbol, notifying you that you are getting $$$ back, BUT that is not always the case! As well sometimes you get a notification email right away from bing, and some times takes a few days!! Just ensure you start at bing.com and click on that CASHBACK symbol on that stores link Ohyes, once u clicked on that link, another window will pop up, asking for ur email that used for bing, as well those security boxes where u have to enter in the characters that you see.

Today that Fuji F70 camera was on sale for $199 which was the best i could find, plus I will get 20% of that price from BING! 60 days from now, I can ask for a cheque in the amount of nearly $40. They can also deposit it into ur bank acct or paypal acct, or mail you a cheque!

Oh dear, big snow here!

Ok, I have to admit it is kind of pretty, it's that softly falling snow, but lots of it. It's an improvement over earlier today when it was entirely dismal - everything is brown, no leaves on the trees - grey overcast and kind of raining/light flurries - you know the one.

Where are you Calgary? I love big fluffy snow! That's one thing i'll miss...I mean, we're only in PA...but they don't get it as often, or as heavy...I'm hoping for one big a** snow fall...the kind that will shut down schools and roads!

Am I nuts? lol
