speaking of vehicles with Canadian plates..

yesterday we were stopped at a red light when all of a sudden my husband goes, "look Manitoba" and sure enough I look at the car in front of us and it had Manitoba plates... they sure were a little far from home...

The only comment we have had on our Florida plates, here, was a (probably drunk) pair of guys standing behind the vehicle pondering loudly, where the plate was from. Eventually he staggered up to the side of the car and said "Sunshine State - is that Florida" - I said yes.

The frame from the car dealership blocked out the wording. wtg car dealership people

the wine-saver thing I was thinking of getting them went up in price and shipping time... said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to ship :o

oh and I wanted to add that I only had to pay about $9.50 for both of those things because I had a "gift card" for Amazon from a survey site I do surveys for... I also got free shipping... :D

yeah I love Amazon..

and with that I am almost done my Christmas shopping...

I just have to get the kids I babysit something but I know what I am getting them already and 3 of our nieces but they will be easy to shop for...

we got a slightly used PS2 with 2 wireless controllers for about 50 bucks for my SIL's kids... plus a bunch of used games

we got 2 $25 dollar gift cards for Boomers for my BIL and his boys.. right now Boomers is having a 2 for 1 gift card sale...

we decided last year that we are not really getting the adults in his family gifts for Christmas.. what I usually do though is give them a bag of homemade treats...
