Thanks guys!

That is a wonderful cake. I love vanilla cake and purple is definitely one of my favourite colours.

On the way home from my son's hockey game tonight we saw a car from Midland! I was so excited we finally hit a red light and got up beside it and I rolled down my window and asked the driver to roll down theirs. Turns out they were from Oakville but bought their car in Midland. I immediately thought of Jill and Krikit though when they told me where they were from. :P

Still a small world eh?

haha! When I rolled down my window and asked him to roll down his, he did look hesitant. But when I told them I was from Midland they were very excited, as was I.

We finally got a new car! (Our very first new car at that...) Our Volkswagen Passat broke down for good a few months ago (it's been nothing but issues since we bought it two years ago,) so I've been bussing/walking to work which is about 2 hours each way since I have to wait for connecting busses and walk alot of it, and 4 miles of walking due to the bus stop not being anywhere near the base.

Anyways, Ford financed us for a nice new 2010 Focus. Originally we came in to sign papers for a 2009 that was going to be delivered the next day, but when we got there they had a 2010 in the parking lot for only $800 more with tons more options and a nicer color.

Today is a good day

That is AWESOME! Whenever we see a car with Ontario plates, I always tell my husband to get closer to them so I can see if I know them.

Holy smokes! :o Congratulations on the new car. You sure needed it.
