GOd, me too! I can't wait until I relocate so I can ransack every garage sale and antique store I come into contact with! It's been odd/weird/unlike me to be getting rid of stuff but the trick is/was not looking back or opening the bags earmarked for donation/garage sales.

Well, glad you guys are enjoying them !

I left a bunch of junk in Canada when I moved to giveaway and my little sister stole it all, ran a garage sale, and kept the profits. Wish I would have thought of that before I left! :P

So far I've sold my microwave, dresser, some bookcases and possibly a floor lamp and my computer table, JUST from posting a single sign in the foyer of my building. If I could just manage to get rid of my couch and bed, I'd be a very happy man indeed!

Ha!!! @ huggles... That is awesome!

And Wyatt, so now that you've sold your computer table, what do you use to work at? I can't reconcile my brain to selling things that I sill want around -- I want to lay on my couch 'itl the very last minute, I want/need my office as I freelance so... and I want my bed to sleep in until the very last minute... I just wonder how that'll work... hmmmm..

Anyway, I'm sure i'll figure it out!

:D

 humm... I wonder how If I can convince the hubby to drive up to Ontario again. Last time he kept saying, "never again, I'm never doing this again, not for any reason!" I guess a 24 hour drive through the most boring, flat terrain the USA has to offer isn't something you want to repeat.

But the couch sounds lovely! Better than this beast. It has orange stripes... and the base is all like faux wood.

Ooo they are planning something for me at work. My co-worker just called and asked when Varba's going to be here in December, and wouldn't tell me why.

I have been putting a ton of stuff up on Kijiji lately as well. And every day I have a bunch of stuff out on my front Lawn with a Free sign on it. Most is gone by the time I get home!! I can't be bothered to have a garage sale and haggle with people over the prices. We also have internal newsgroups at work, so I have posted and sold a lot of stuff there as well. It is amazing how much stuff you can accumulate over a short amount of time!!!

I haven't sold it yet -- I have a couple who are coming back tonight to take my dresser and some bookcases, and I THINK they said they wanted my computer desk too. If they DO, well...my TV is actually on a bare bones computer desk, so I may just transfer my computer to that for a few days. Don't ask me what I'll do with my TV then though...
