I grew up on Anna Maria. :)

Anna Maria as in Anna Maria Island ????

2 hours north of cape coral????

I LOVE THAT PLACE!!!!

Chad's mom is living there. I was working for a year in the area and got to go to AMI. His aunt is a realtor there and she has the best homes ever. For our wedding present, she offered us a free week in one of her homes! Whenever we want and we can invite friends and family!

We are going to Cape Coral for xmas, I cant wait!!!!

Hey all!! Tell me more about netbooks!!! My husband got me one for our anniversary. Yes, he's romantic t hat way telling me and all but... I sorta love that about him.

Anyway, it''s exactly what I want, so that I don't have to sit at my desktop and talk to you all or surf the net or watch movies and/or chat anymore. I can do it on my couch or in my bed.

i am super excited about it! So... tell me all you know.

Since it doesn't have a CD ROM drive, I've been ripping my movies into single file format and then converting them to mp4s so that I can put them on a USB key and watch th em on the netbook...

Yay!

Nice.

Once I get situated down in D.C. and we get all the "couple" things we need...a netbook will be the first thing on my list to buy.

How you likin' this Pineapple Express, Wyatt? It's been pissing rain here in Coquitlam for hours now.

Yeah, it's been a real miserable day out there. On the plus side, my wife and I figured the weather was a good excuse to stay indoors and play video games all day. :D

Fortunately I haven't had to witness much of it, as I've been cooped up indoors for most of the last few days, packing up my apartment. I live two minutes away from Metrotown, but I actually drove into underground parking there to get a few groceries this morning. Yup...pretty miserable!

Know what else is pretty miserable? There's a guy in the CR-1 forum asking how easy it is to get his wife deported.

Even if there's a lot more to the story, I think that's pretty cold...

Haha, DPX, you need an excuse?! :P

Wyatt - boo, you went to Superstore?

Yeah, I DID actually. Normally I go to Save On but I also wanted to get a decent file folder for the interview and some packing tape and I wasn't sure if Save On would have either of those things.

I might even wind up going back tomorrow because of another thing or two I need to buy. Grr.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of Superstore. They're pretty massive, and their prices are a little better than Save On etc. on most things...but there's something about it I profoundly dislike. I always feel a little dirty when I go shopping there.
