Me too! The stuff he eats is insane... he's getting alot larger as the season progresses

Hahaha no kidding!!! Sometimes it disgusts me :)

If you noticed, he always says the same things "MMMmmmm the texture, you can taste the moisture and the beef and the cheese, the crunchyness of the bacon, the spices hit you, its' sooooo goood blablabla"

That makes me laugh!

I wonder why people make such big portion and how they can even combine ingredients that do not go together sometimes.

So, my wife has been constantly amazed for the past several months that I'd never seen Star Wars, given that I've seen a LOT of movies in my life...and that it's a classic etc. So tonight we both rented the first three movies (I guess that would be IV, V and VI for the new generation...) and watched the first one. I was REALLY underwhelmed! It wasn't bad per se, but since so much of its content has been lampooned, satirized or simply copied in various ways over the years, I don't think it had the kind of impact on me that it would have had on someone who saw it at a much earlier age.

Ah well. Next up...The Empire Strikes Back, which I DID see back in the mid-90's. And I have vague childhood memories of The Return Of The Jedi as well...but that'll likely wait till Friday. ;)

YES!!! Never seen the movies either. So i'm not the only one.

Well now you watched 3 of them, I might be the only one :(

I saw all 3 when I was kid and LOVED them. NOw they are more of a nostalgic experience for me. I think if I'd seen them as an adult I'd have been underwhelmed as well.

Now? They are pure nostalgia.

Thanks! Yup...feels great! I had to double and triple check that I put in the right numbers. :P

I think Electronic Processing helped speed things up quite a bit. I was out of NVC within a month, even with an RFE.

Sorry Malrothien. :( Hope yours will be CC soon!

That is awesome! We were at NVC for a little less than a month too but we had no RFEs and it was pretty speedy... OH, we got a false RFE but I don't think that enacts the same way?

Annnnnnnnwayyyyys.... this is great. Now you can hop aboard the Montreal interview train. TOooooooooot, Toooooooooooot!

Well, I was just taking a look at Trailmix's CR-1 timeline, and despite what I had previously thought, there are only 12 active CR-1 VJers waiting for an interview (11, if you don't count me since I'm only at sign in fail and not officially Case Complete yet). So if you assume that VJers account for maybe 1/3 of all CR-1 interview waiters (and that's a totally unfounded assumption...just seems like a ballpark number to me), then that means you have around 36 folks in that same boat. If the Montreal Consulate plans on doing a scheduling blitz like they did with the K-1s, well...it's not outside the realm of possibility that half of the people currently waiting on an interview will get one for December, based upon the assurance of the consulate director (see the Missa / KnJ / Cdn_Gewels thread) that there will be a lot of CR-1 scheduling soon.

Maybe I'm naive. Maybe I'm overly optimistic. Maybe I just have a positive glow because of my sign in fail. But I can't help but think that things are going to get better for all of the CR-1s VERY soon! :)

Geez. You just made my palms sweat.

But that's my math as well. There are always far fewer CR1s/IR1s than there are K1s so I know that probably in all of Canada, there aren't more than about 100 or less waiting for an interview. I think I over-estimate too but...

I would LOVE those guys if they did a Publishers Clearing house of all us Dust-bunny CR/IR1s and then picked up the pace for you guys.

Despite what you may think? I am a very optimistic, forward thinking person -- it takes very little for me to be appeased and happy....

It's a lovely thought, Wyatt... You are also very upbeat and forward t hinking -- that's a very good quality...

You keep us all humming along.

Shall we group hug now?

Come along, Mal -- you too... I know how you love a big, squishy group hug.

:D
