So as a working mother, I do have to place my son in afterschool care after school. So anyways today when I went to pick him up they were talking about going on a field trip on one of their half days to... *drumroll*..... the old country buffet.

Wow how educational!

Maybe I'm the only one who finds this funny... I dunno. I find it really funny.

No, no you're not. I think that's freaking hilarious!

I can't imagine what educational benefit a child could get from a field trip to a buffet, other than how to avoid ptomaine poisoning.

Luckily this "trip" occurs on a Monday and I am off every Monday so ya... I need not worry about my son and 40 other kids being let loose at an all you can eat buffet.

I've never been to old country buffet but when you see the outside and the people who are actually going there and the commercial on tv, i think thats the last place on earth i'd go.

I've never been to an Old Country Buffet. I don't do well with buffets..... I'm too much of a germaphobe. Especially when there's 40 kids on a field trip!

Steak 'n Shake has good burgers. ####### french fries, though. They remind me of those hard potato chip stick snacks.

Long John Silver..... let's just call it what it is. Fast food fish from your freezer section. Pwnd by alliteration. lol

Give me White Spot over Red Robin any day!

Their fries and milkshakes are the best ever, in my opinion.

I don't even renumber what White Spot is like ..lol

I just know that the fries at Red Robins are sooo good... crispy on the outside and kind of a mashed potato texture on the inside ...mmmmmm

Know what's strange? Heinz ketchup in the U.S. tastes completely different than Heinz ketchup in Canada. It's saltier and tangier, not as sweet. I find it strange because Heinz is known internationally for its unique taste...yet it obviously has a different "unique" taste in at least two different countries! I'm going to miss the Canadian Heinz ketchup...to the point that I might actually buy a couple of jumbo Costco-sized ketchups from a Canadian Costco and bring 'em down with me.

Yup, I like my ketchup...and it's gotta be Heinz! Canadian Heinz!
