Overcast and muggy day here in RI! Plan to study outside today. Nothing like being outside with a cup of coffee, studying and hearing the waves smack against the shore. Later on, go and get me a XL Timmies coffee. I must admit, they taste a lot better this yr. $2.11 gets a 24 oz coffee.

Maybe they heard that Canadians aren't liking the U.S. version of the coffee!?

I was surprised she asked. We were talking and I was telling her how I loved how universal hospitality was. I used to work in the hotel across the street from where this new hilton is. She was really nice, it is really tempting because I DO love working with people, BUT the hours is what kills me. I think its better suited for a single person... especially management.

Hotels never close. Thats the sh1tty part. They're open year round, hour to hour. It takes dedication I guess. Something I no longer have. I'm only dedicated to my son and husband. AWWZ. :P *cheeeese*

That's so nice! Yeah I guess you'd have to work evenings and weekends, which wouldn't be suitable to your schedule! But it's always good to feel wanted :)

 That's awesome, just tell him that if he were in Canada going to school he'd probably have to take French anyway! I remember all through elementary I had to take french, but that was in Quebec so not sure if it's different in ON

My mom put me in French immersion in grade 4 through to grade 7. I hated it so much but I appreciate it now.

She also insisted that I learn to speak Cantonese. So I took language classes in a church basement off of gerrard street in Toronto.

She said that she saw it advertised in the star one day and decided it would be neat for me to do. I was the black sheep in that class, that's for sure.

"Oh yea he likes using the speaker part so that the computer says the word... I saw him do that he was pressing it over and over so all you'd hear was: ####### ####### ####### #######.

 Reminds me of Eric and his ####### ####### #######.

Congrats on the job-offer-that-you're-not-going-to-take, Sprailenes.

I've been busy going through mounds of documents, binging and purging. Time to get rid of this accumulating clutter. I hate that we get so much ####### in the mail. It's unbelievable.

I'm not sure if we're doing anything tomorrow or not. There's a parade and fireworks downtown... only I really hate parades. And crowds. So I doubt we'll go. Don't know if my husband has anything in mind, though.

You should put a "no junk mail" sign on your mailbox!

Does that work?

Well I've never actually tried it LOL as I like getting flyers/coupons.... but I've seen a few people with a no junk mail sign on theirs, I assume the mail man just gives them regular post!

Yep in Canada I had a "No Junk Mail/No Jehovahs" sign on my door. :D

My daughter just called to say she and her girlfriend have landed safely in Calgary. They're there for the Stampede. I can just imagine how much fun they'll have.

Yahooo! I hope they have a fabulous time!

Its our second wedding anniversary today (L) and we're celebrating in style . . . . . . . . . by hanging out at the weather station. He's even letting me release the weather balloon in five minutes. Now if that isn't love, I don't know what is. :P

It the 4th tomorrow and Chris is turning 36 begrudgingly. We're gonna celebrate that in style too with another weather balloon release.
