i have to say... I love the liqueurs made into yummy beverages. I just NEVER drink them as well, they taste TOO good and then only trouble will come of my 'surprise' inebriation.

I am not kidding.

:)

You make the beverages but you never drink them? What the heck? lol

Congratulations on all the interviews! Wow. A few of you even get them on the same days. That's AWESOME.

I hadn't found VJ before I ventured into US immigration land so I didn't get a chance to meet anyone. But then that was back in the olden days. lol

Off for my walk now. :)

Screw flavor, I'm working from Peachey's house I can use real ammaretto....

Amaretto is such a versatile liqueur. It can go in coffee. It can go in hot chocolate. It can go in tea. It makes a great amaretto sour. It can even go on ice cream or cake. One should always keep a bottle of amaretto in their liquor cabinet. lol

Or in their purse. :P

Not having the purse option, I'd have to use a wallet shaped flask.... hmmm.

Or just get one of those camelback and sneak it under a coat of sweatshirt

Amaretto sours are really good. Kind of a girly drink though  I don't drink the fruit liquers because I tend to not notice how much i've drank and then WHAM... i'm drunk off my as$.

Congrats to everyone who got their interview

HA! Krikit -- you are hilarious!

I meant I never order them and such because if I started, god -- the shenanigans that would ensue with a drunk silly LGG around -- you all think I'm silly sober? You should see me drunk -- I am a walking side show!

;)

Oh and I agree with Rob and Mel with the amaretto sours -- they are lovely but they have to made with real lemon and not a bar mix otherwise they dont' taste as nice...

:)

Oh no, it has to be made with the bar mix stuff. Real lemon juice is far too tart . I had a bartender friend who used to make them and then put a splash of gin in it. Tasted really good and made them like rocket fuel.

I'll take mine with amaretto. :)

I hope you ate all the frosted timbits before you put them in the freezer, Charles. Those get wet and nasty. :dead:

Well, I am off for a walk, then heading to the local Hortons for a coffee. Does anyone want anything?

well what do you think?

Lemon juice and confectioners' sugar is the real recipe. just the right amount of sweetness. THOUGH, I have to agree a bit as once I had about 3 of them, made with real lemon juice and it was like I'd drunk battery acid -- the skin on the inside of my mouth was hanging in shreds.

I kid you not!

:D

Splash of gin, eh? Mmmmmm. I have to say, I find the smell of gin just beautiful... juniper berries FTW!

Good morning all, wow lots of K1 interviews woot!

Yeah, I feel like a huge poop has been lifted off my chest.

Er, wait, getting threads mixed up. ;)

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

I meant I was getting my threads mixed up... like... between the dog pooping on the yard one and and K1 interviews relieving my stress...

Pass on some good luck to the whole PILE of CR1 and such waiting since June, k???

We need a good dose of it.

As a coffee drinker, I LOVE to have a glass of water close by as sometimes coffee makes me unbearably thirsty. If that makes any sense.. .
