Hi krikit!

I've never had a flu shot.

Yes, we have totes full of books that we haul around with us. I am not a collector - oh don't want that anymore - pitch! in to the garbage, however, I do have a hard time giving my books to other people and throwing them away just doesn't seem right - so we carry them around

I was very excited to get my new library card in Florida.

Good day everyone. Really really cold here. I think I might get a flu shot.

*upset that Krikit didn't bring back doughnuts from the basement of Eaton's*

It is cold, especially if you have one. :crying: Catch a cold, it's phlegm-tastic.

I think I'm turning into one of those crazy people that over anticipates every holiday known to man...namely CHRISTMAS!!!

Sorry for the outburst, but I am getting seriously excited for the holidays this year. This Christmas will be our first Christmas where we haven't been almost completely broke from immigration costs, paying back credit cards from travelling expenses, etc. We don't have a Christmas tree, but oh yes I'm getting one! I was on ebay and amazon all morning ordering cute things like an oversized stocking for him in which I am going to stuff to the brim full of tooth rotting goodies and various gadgets that he likes, christmas tree ornaments, etc. Now all we need is snow, which I hear is hard to come by in Cali but I was hoping trailmix might send some our way :luv:

On cnn.com they're showing this story of a 6 year old boy flying through the skies in a homemade balloon. Apparently his parents made it and the tether holding it down broke and now this 6 year old child is flying through the skies. ####### is wrong with people???

I know I am terrified something bad is going to happen. :(

He's 10,000 feet in the air, it's cold up there, the air is thin... :(

I am so terrified for him. :(

Yeah - it's really zipping around.

They said maybe - and they are just guessing - that when the sun sets and it gets cooler it might deflate a bit and slow down and land - although, it's already really cold up where the balloon is, so who knows how accurate that guess is.
