Good morning all.

No air conditioning krikit! egads! I hope that gets fixed today. Yes, still cold and dreary here, oh well.

I don't like swiss chalet sauce, for the record, i'm surprised it doesn't have cloves as an ingredient because that is what I taste in it. Which reminds me, when we lived in Singapore we used to buy clove cigarettes. They were really rough but they did taste good in small quantities

I completely see the draw for SC - like Jill said, it's comfort food - plus it's a comfy place. We used to go there all the time when our kids were little, they have a treasure chest for kiddies, or they did.

I love Swiss Chalet.

I used to love going there as a kid and picking something from the treasure chest! It brings back fond childhood memories.

I also love getting their take out and miss it a lot. I'm going to buy some of the sauce packets when I'm home this weekend. Thanks for the reminder!!

I would totally go this weekend while I'm back, but I feel like it's too similar to Thanksgiving dinner for food choices, so I think we'll select another retaurant to go to on Saturday.

Have any of you ever played Mario Kart Wii? There's this course where you race through a mall, I think its called Peach's mall or something like that. Anyways, when you come around this one corner there is a giant picture of Peach on the wall and its the same picture you have in your display picture Peachey! I always think of you when I race through that mall

On another random note, I spent the weekend traveling through the mountains with my dearest husband! It was pretty fun. I saw some interesting things! Like really deep valley's, the continental divide, a couple feet of snow at 12,000 ft above sea level, a huge herd of elk, a fat female deer drinking from a river, and a scheduled forest burn at Rocky Mountain National Park. After watching that PBS special last week on National Parks i'm all over that stuff! It was so interesting! Anyone else see it? We actually went out and bought an annual pass so we can go to any national park around the country for the next year without paying entrance fees. There are 4 in this state alone!

Colorado is a beautiful state, I remember thinking that as I rode the Greyhound down the I-25, over and over and over again.

Sweet! I wifi with my sister every now and then but she kicks my butt!

Oh I-25... there are portions of that highway that make me want to kill! Other parts are scenic and pleasant. Pretty much sums up the entire state actually...
