so the hubster finally had his interview for day shift yesterday..

he said it went well but there only concern was that the last time he was on day shift he took off early a lot of times... the things is those 2 years or so were kind of crazy.. his mom was in and out of the hospital, David had his own medical issues he had to take care of, he also was in school and I had my pregnancy issues... David did tell them that he was there to stay and that he wasn't in school anymore so hopefully they take that into consideration...

I have my fingers crossed for you Marilyn!

I am SO bored at work right now. I just want it to be 5 p.m. so I can leave and go enjoy my weekend!!

Nev I hope you don't have swine flu

So the apartment hunt is on, hubby and I had a talk last night and decided we don't want to stay here anymore.... since there are 6 people living below us, the noise is just unreal, including a screaming newborn.... plus we really want to get a dog, so our mind's made up. We're going to see a few places tomorrow morning and hopefully give our 60 days notice soon :)

Nah!

It's just a cold. It's not even a bad cold, I just took a nyquil instead of a dayquil so I think I'm all bugged out.

You don't worry I'll be there tomorrow night... WITH BELLS ON!

I did pilates for the second time this week, and we focused on shoulders, and I am SORE today as well!

I changed the channel on the TV by hand and I pulled something.

found that porn channel, eh? :D

If I found that, I couldn't sit down, I'd remain perfectly erect. Seriously, it wouldn't only be my resolve that would stiffen up. I'd have a hard time changing the channel. If it was raining, I'd be sch-winging in the rain. People would think that I was camping indoors because I'd be pitching a tent. Sorry, Charles that's all I can think of right now, maybe when I get some more Vitamin E. In case my sister is out there, here's the perfunctory, EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

if you was eric, you could change channels from the sofa.

Alas, my shortcomings are revealed yet again. If I could channels from the sofa, I'd be in the movie.

Ok, Ok, Ok...

You guys will probably think I'm stupid for being excited about this but... I saw a tumbleweed! :D

HAHA that's great, was there like western music playing in the background, you know the twangy stuff?

 No... But I made my own!

My husband really doesn't understand my interest. I thought they were mythical western movie things! :P

Speaking of tv/western stuff, I've seen an actual Roadrunner in my fiance's backyard before. It was cool.

I've heard coyotes howling at night too, scared the ####### out of me when I first heard it and I hid under the sheets

No way! A Roadrunner? I didn't even know those things were real.

Did I ever tell you guys a mountain lion showed up at my wedding? I never saw it, but my florist and her husband did and started freaking out. I guess it was sitting up on one of the big rocks watching everyone. Or maybe he just wanted the deer? There was one of those hanging around too.

I've seen lots of Roadrunners, their horns make a "MEEP, MEEP," sound.

CH1009-85002_1.jpg

Oh, you're talking about the birds., I've only seen two of those, one was on a backroad outside of Sunland Park, NM and the other was in May in AZ. He'd show up in the backyard but would run away everytime I tried to get a picture.

To all of you poor people who are ailing right now, get well soon but let me remind you, "it is better to give than to receive."

well, I called before and they ask you the questions and I said no I am not a US citizen and then the automated voice says.. you are not qualified for jury duty... no, duh!! :P

I have to mail back the form..

i did the same thing last time but I never got an official card or anything saying I was excused.. only the automated voice told me like this time..

you would think they would have removed from the master list... there is something on the form that deals with that but it is only for if you have died or if you have moved out of the area...

Edited by Marilyn.

USCIS strikes again! I just received two different interview notices for my naturalization test/interview in the mail...one for Oct. 13, one for Nov. 23. The November 23rd notice is on their typical official looking thick grey paper, while the other one doesn't even have the "notice of action" message, or the DHS logo at the top, and is on white office paper.

I've been on hold with USCIS for about 15 minutes now trying to figure out which one it will be.

Update: They just informed me it will be Oct. 13, yay! Must have been a cancellation or something. Time to study for my test :star:
