Luckily my bath in Victoria had glass doors so the cats were trapped! lol Was not fun! Soo many scratches, lol They never did get accustomed to the bath, but put up less of a fight!! It was much easier too just divorce her,lol

Ok that made me laugh

I gave my cat a bath twice, she wasn't dirty or anything, just going through a shedding stage and I figured it was a good idea. Ok she HATES it. It was a disaster. So the next year I decide it's a good idea, guess I only had a vague memory of the previous years fiasco.

I will never ever ever bathe my cat again.

you need a cat like these..lol

Good morning. I have a dentist appointment today. Our new grass is coming up nicely. The weather has been so nice and we've had our windows open. That's all! Enjoy your day.

Where are you off to Carla? Visiting the motherland?? Thanks for the coffee!

So my Husband is off to fix the sink at my Niece's house today, which she tried to fix yesterday.

Our car passed the inspection for import yesterday, after getting the auto running lights put on - I guess the vehicle already had the module as they had that done before my Husband even got home the other day.

It was funny, he took their courtesy shuttle home, then a few hours later they call to say the truck is ready (had to get the window fixed too) and he goes to pick it up - it had crossed my mind earlier that he would need transport to get there - but then left my mind, so I just wave ta ta!

Later he says, aren't you wondering how I got there? (he walked - I don't know, it's probably a few kms)

That's a good walk!

I like that you are still using kilometres.

I think I have converted completely.

Hahaha!

Hello to all of you.

It has been a while.

I miss this place when I'm too busy or traveling and cannot play here and catch up.

That is impossible; to catch up on all your news.

I made a wish and it came true...only bigger than I imagined:

I'm going to work/live/eat/sleep/breathe/practice/play at a yoga centre/school.

What i was looking for was in intensive yoga teacher program and lo-and-behold how life takes it on and makes it bigger.

I had been looking at Hawai'i but the timing was off and I didn't manage to find somewhere to do a work/study exchange.

So I started looking to volunteer (work/study) because the classes (every where) are ridiculously expensive...and I found a paying job!

(oops this could go in the thread about "I love it when....")

It's/I'm a fit!

Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Karma yoga plus!

More than I imagined.

My Vancouver teachers raved about it as have others that have been there.

This is very exciting.

I'm preparing to go....more long distance driving....

I'll second that!!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Thanks Trailmix and Krikit.

Oops, I thought you were in Florida.

Even when I'm in Vancouver or Montreal I use miles and Fahrenheit.

They make more sense to me...distance feels shorter and temperatures warmer.
