Good morning all and thanks for the coffee Carla. That's terrible about your shovel.

Is anyone else going to watch Whitney Houston perform on GMA? I find it odd that they pre-recorded her concert, yesterday, normally they always just show it live. Not sure when they are going to show it but I guess it's in the next 1/2 hour.

I don't like Whitney Houston.

Yeah, i'm not a 'fan' - never bought a CD or anything but decided I would watch the 'comeback' concert. Well it was ok I guess. You know, there is something to be said for just standing there singing without hopping around. People generally don't sing very well when they are hopping.

Does anyone else watch America's Got Talent? I LOVE that show. :luv:

I manage to catch it periodically - I don't really know what day it comes on but if I happen to see it in the listings I will switch to it.

That's why alot of singers who dance in their concerts lip sync! I paid $100 to see Britney and she danced the whole time, didn't sing one word live. Last time I'll go see her! I like to see live performances. The exception was Madonna, when I saw her she sang live and danced alot too

She did when I went, which was 2006 I think? It was amazing

We do!! We do!! And we luv it too!! it is a million and one times more entertaining then American Idol :P

the hubby and I have watched every season so far...

I hate the new host, Nick Cannon though, he is so fake and he thinks he is funny when he is not.. and those hideous velvet suits he wears.. ugh

I want Jerry Springer back.. he seemed to fit right in with the show and the contestants...

So I thought I'd be a smartass and use the bank machine in Portuguese today (it was one of the options) and accidentally pulled out 200.00. :lol:

Can't put it back until I get back home... the buttons were all the same... I don't know what happened... all I wanted was 20.00.

Nick Cannon has had some cute moments but he's definitely out of his depth here. As odd as the concept seems, I agree that Jerry Springer did an awesome job. But I hear he's coming back to do the finals. Yay!

Good morning everyone. Today I am going to pick up/drop off dry cleaning, shop at Walmart :crying: , then head to the Fresh Market. Which sucks, because it's a looooooooong drive but we don't have any organic grocers in town. Maybe I should throw in a pedicure? LOL. Oh! And I was just thinking that I'd like to go to the local coffee shop/bistro..... and then I remembered that they have a psychic there every Thursday! :o Maybe I should see what that's all about. lol
